Can't help thinking that fat Gary will be pragmatically thinking The Glovers have a reasonable chance of going down and Ruben may knock in a few in league 1, but hey who knows? but yes on current form we should try and get him on a permanent - he does seem to like it down here. But then again if he gets a few more then I'm sure a few other league1/2 clubs will be circling around.
See the thread on pasoti that suggests there was a scout taking notes on Hourihane, Reid & Nelson. Who knows?
I see there's a new pasoti poster, two posts so far, called Mr J B Easten which of course is an anagram of James Brent.
They're not that feckin thick are they? Surely not after being sussed as the Windsor Boys?

That's got to be the scat line at the top of the forum, mods, given the weather tomorrow.
Only saying that Sheridan has scraped together a temporary well drilled team capable of at least competing. But it is only temporary. The best players are not ours and will shortly all be gone. The bigger picture remains - the club is ultimately royally screwed under by far the worst owner Argyle has ever suffered under. We'll probably occupy the play-off places for a while in the run-in but the progress made recently Sheridan is all very much built on sand. It can't last.

The best player you can get on the pitch is confidence, it will make or break a season and at the moment we seem to be building it. I don't think that Sturrock's players all those years ago were particularly good, it was confidence that turned quite an average standard of player into a good team.

Hard to tell from such short clips but some really good attacking play there - the less said about the defending the better.

There's no doubt that somewhere Sheridan has suddenly found a balance that encourages a bit of football on occasion, and several different sources I respect, outside of the superfan dummies who wanted Sheridan out, have been praising the odd bit of style. Still a lot of dour reports though.
All of a sudden there appears to be a fluency that resembles a football team not seen for 6 years. Will it last ? No idea. There's still some bad vibes surrounding everything. That won't go away while rottweilers bark and piss everywhere.

I went yesterday and thought Argyle deserved the draw and should have won this game..
Port Vale looked ok in places during the first half.
The second half belonged to Argyle and whatever Sheridan said at half time worked wonders..
Not a big crowd yesterday, but 591 Argyle fans is not too bad for a Sunday jolly up North..
I really fancy Argyle's chances in the replay next week.
