| 10,126 real fans at HP today, good turnout all things considered. |

How many Torquay supporters roughly? It was ok. I'd say around 1100-1200 Torks. Argyle played pretty well in patches. Who put the ball in for Allesandras goal? It was a beauty. Torquay did create a few half chances but they are a team low on confidence. That said, they're probably no worse than a few teams to come to Home Park this year. This league really is awful. Being just above mediocre will secure you a place in the play-offs, and it really isn't beyond Argyle to get there, especially if Reid and Lavery maintain form and we can hang on to Lavery for a while longer. |

| Hats off to Sheridan, he's turned around the team's fortunes over the last few weeks and got them into a position where maintaining this form will get them somewhere near the play offs.
It'll be interesting to see how our football mad owner reacts. We all know that he's only here for the property but can he afford now not to back the manager? I suppose if Sheridan ships out 3, he'll get 3 in, but will the budget be increased to have a push at the play offs?
If nothing extra is done JB may well lose some support from the wider fanbase, not from the inner circle obviously, but it may well open the eyes of others who have previously been content with the 'he saved the club' line peddled by his monkeys.
Anyway, good win today, and well done John Sheridan. Long may it continue. |

By some way the highest in the division. The only two that came anywhere close were the team at the top & one just outside automatic promotion. That's impressive. |

| Superb second half performance. That Lavery can bloody play. Get a few more players in this month and we could find ourselves in the playoffs come April time. This league is woeful, no team seems to be dominating it like previous years. Rememeber when i got laughed at saying we were a decent striker away from having a top 10 team. |

I think it is important that people keep their feet on the floor. Yes we have had a few wins and some draws and we find ourselves in mid table with 5 points of the play offs, but 2 or 3 bad results and we can find ourselves slugging it back down the wrong end with a similar points margin from the relegation places. Swings and roundabouts spring to mind. Its all very well getting "a few more players" free transfers and loanees have their limitations and their will come a time when the speccy banker will have to pay a few fees for players..that's when we will see the true intent of his vile empire building. |

| Firstly what a fantastic attendance,no public transport and really pissing it down yet 10,000 plus hardy souls braved the elements to support their team, whether argyle or torquay, the fans should be roundly applauded.Secondly what a great result, absolutely fantastic, even the most negative on here cant find fault with that performance and long may it continue. The greens are looking good for a play off place... |

| I wasn't sure if Sheridan was getting us anywhere not that long ago but he and the team have really hit form now.
Keep this up and who knows? Could beat Port Vale on Saturday and get a decent draw in round 4.
Great crowd as well despite the shit weather. |

| It should not be deemed as 'impressive' that PAFC, England's most underachieving city club, draw 10k fans to HP on NYD for a local derby.
That kind of thinking is part of the problem.
