Three thousand fans for a fa cup match, should tell speccy how the fans feel about his two wasted years in charge, though no doubt it will still be a standing ovation from the few remaining gratefuls, who still believe the bullshit from those quivering lips!

Is there a news blackout on this event?
Rule #1 of the Q&A is that nobody mentions the Q&A, apparently.

I was there.
Nothing earth shattering really, just some elaboration about the details of the development and how it will unfold. There were some insights but nothing that will make the front page. A few interesting points about the football club side of it as well from Martin Starnes. One bit in particular made my jaw drop: 'stewards are not advised to follow a pitch invader onto the pitch unless they feel he could be a serious threat to the safety of the players'.
Well I'd love to know how they can guess if he's got a knife in his pocket or not without actually knowing. I know MS was only passing on the rules but what a load of nonsense that rule is. Should be scrapped.
The full audio recording will be out soon which will give the event much more justice than I could have.

I had three:
1) In the light of Swindon's comments about our derisory offer to Lee Cox, how competitive is our budget to enable us to sign players like him? 2) Will the studio school or otherwise community facility be used to the benefit of PAFC financially on matchdays and days when the school is not in use? 3) How much will the capacity be for paying customers when you subtract commentary podiums, segregation, stewards, directors box etc.
Answers were: 1) Martin Starnes said that our bid for Cox was not derisory and that last year we payed him half of his wages and this year we offered to pay the exact same wage again. This year they said they wouldn't accept anything less than the full wage and thus released the comment about derisory bids which Starnes said was an unprofessional comment. He didn't however, answer the second part of my question about the budget in general. 2) The answer from James Brent was an unequivocal yes- it would be used to the club (as it's on the football stadium, NOT the HHP land) for additional corporate and hospitality facilities primarily during games. 3) JB said segregation would be 'about 400' but different dependent on games. So reading between the lines I think the most paying customers we'll ever see in there is about 17,300.
I don't think work on the development will start until Summer by the way. It sounds like there's a lot of rigmarole and procedure that needs to be gone through before the builders move in.

i was sure the idea of stewards was to prevent pitch invaders in fact MS needs to read up on the rules or better still go watch the leyton orient game from yesterday,

In fairness, MS was repeating the rules/advice from the police not enforcing them.
The idiot stewards at Swindon didn't follow onto the field either.

What a big turnout, it goes to show what the majority of the fans thinks, the postman given more space in Brent Herald, a rally call from the big pig and his gang banging on in his web site, 6000 at the game and only around 100? turn up to the big meeting. It tells Mr Brent the fans do not believe what he says and what he is doing to the club. Mr Evans watch out for the fall out over this in May

Good news.
The land that it's on though is, according to the PCC papers of 3rd Sep 2013, being transferred freehold to HHP Nominee Ltd: "To implement the development project that was envisaged in the 2011 Agreement, Akkeron has now requested that approximately 1.22 acres of the Stadium site, currently contained within the 30-year lease, should be transferred freehold to HHP" (the 1.22 acres includes the grandstand corner where the school is going and the gap between the grandstand and HHP land)
and then in the same document: "In return for the eventual transfer of the freehold land, PAFC will pay an additional stadium rental of £30,000 per annum, i.e. increasing the stadium rental from £135,000 to £165,000 per annum, plus indexation, from the date of completion of the new Grandstand."
Hence the questions about the £30k rent increase.
HHP Nominee have also been transferred the original HHP plot (car park area), so appear have all the land required to build the development as freehold. While the benefit of the new build can come to PAFC (which is good news), it seems the corner of the stadium is no longer owned by PCC.
