For what it is worth i am going today, but only because i am working half an hour away from York . There was a day when i would travel distances quite frequently, sadly the state of affairs at PAFC and the superfan clique have put an end to that. |

| As my wife needs our car next Saturday and I will have to get a lift to Argyle with a mate, it's looking unlikely that I will be able to make this little meeting. Is there anybody who will be going who can ask some questions for me? I'm quite happy for you to say you are asking on my behalf. The questions will not be anything I haven't already asked or made comment about using my own name on both ATD and Pasoti. PM me if you are able to ask a question or two for me.
For those looking in from elsewhere, my lift will also be bringing his elderly father with him and has no intention of dragging his dad down to Argyle four and a half hours before kick off. Considering the very poor attendance at the City Bus meeting which a lot of fans said was too early, it does beg the question as to why this meeting is again so early? The fansfest starts at 12 and only takes a couple hundred people and now the Far Post is closed there is a distinct lack of places for people to hang around for three hours before kick off. Only people with tickets for the fansfest are likely to turn up as they will just stay where they are. A Meeting at say 12 in the City Bus club might have attracted more people. I expect a poor turn out which will be used by some to claim people are afraid to ask the board questions. More likely it's too late to ask a lot of the questions people would have asked a while ago. The answers will probably be holding statements that won't actually tell us anything or nothing that wasn't already in the public domain. I also expect the meeting to be used as a publicity stunt where announcements will be made that the club is listening to fans and there will be a supporters bar of some description. On one hand it's good the club are making the offer to fans but it's not exactly making it easy for fans to attend is it? |

Unfortunately Al, many dissenters are of the opinion this is about 12 to18 months too friggin late - this has been a nothing but a charade which you must have watched first hand, obviously neither you or 'us' are preparing to stand down our beliefs!! This club will never be the same I'm afraid!! Cheers!! |

Where does it say you'll be fully informed of current events? I think you're confusing being able to ask a question, with receiving a full and frank answer. Do Brent and his posse hold their own PASB in such low regard, that they totally ignore any questions put to them for weeks on end, yet on Saturday they're going to openly answer any question going from Uncle Tom Cobley and all? Far and away the biggest topic for debate was the grandstand. That's finished. PAFC are being f ucked over, and Brent has the Council eating out of the palm of his hand. No amount of questioning changes any of that. So unless idle chat about buses pasties or murals gives you a hard-on, there's very little point in turning up to be patronized by a bunch of fully-fledged knobends. |

| You will be "fully informed" meaning proper answers rather than internet stories. This is nothing to do with the PASB.. Never was...This is a meet the Board Event.Don't confuse the two. If Uncle Tom Cobley turns up,then his questions will be answered. The grandstand is done and dusted,no good going on about that,it has been explained time and time again why the grandstand is the size it is. Time to move on.At least the club will have a brand new grandstand and four sides to the ground, which is a lot better than the sorry state that the Mayflower had become under Stapleton & Co,and Dan the Man before him. |

We know the grandstand is done and dusted, and all the worthwhile revenue streams out of it are going straight to Akkeron. Hip hip hooray. Three cheers for James and for he's a jolly good fellow. So, what the f uck is there left to question him about, that makes it worth your while getting up there at 10.30 in the morning? |

"Just get it built" "It's better than what's there now" What sort of Argyle fan worthy of the name could ever want brent's piece of shit built reducing ground capicty to 16k and then boxing in the ground so it can NEVER be expanded for the next 50 years at least. All so your beloved brent can fatten his pension fund. With 'fans' like you, the club doesn't need enemies. |

With 'fans' like you, the club doesn't need enemies. The grateful's would be happy with a five hundred seat "Grand Stand" If the pasoti dictatorship told them it was a quivering good deal! |

SS68...you are not going to change the stand, that's done and dusted no matter how much you and others dislike it.As for signings, this new guy from Bury looks pretty useful from what I have read, certainly has a bit of pace about him,and unsettles defenders, could be a wee gem to quote a Luggyism.A lot of people questioned the rent Argyle were paying so maybe that will be cleared up,the retail units contributing towards the club, maybe that will be cleared up,the commencement of building the new grandstand, maybe that will be cleared up,car parking, views of the hoe,who knows what will be asked. |
