Are you trying to say that the club would deliberately plan a meeting to coincide with the Trust AGM? So either no one turns up to the AGM or all the people who may ask awkward questions don't turn up to the club meeting, they wouldn't be that cynical would they? I suggest the Trust contacts the CEO immediately and informs him of the date because as sure as Lincoln V Argyle was going to be 0-0, that's when this meeting will be arranged for. |

I think the word you're looking for is devious and I think that you're wrong If it were to be arranged for the same date at roughly the same time as the AFT AGM then that would be the last straw for many people and Chris Webb would be consigned to being the biggest turncoat cnut in history, if he isn't already. |

| Shows where the "power" lies. PASB and the Trust could have asked till the were blue in the face and wouldn't have gotten an answer. The President breaks his self imposed exile to announce he's sorted it out and got James to face the music. Cue the usual backslapping and he's a jolly good fellow. It's already been nauseating enough last week. - IjN wrote:
- Congratulations to @Chris_Webb1 Two years as Argyle President and already done way more than most of them put together!!
By the way how long has it been since The President was asked for his IP address. Anyhow, there should be very little to ask if any of the other groups where showed some modicum of respect. And it begs the question will the board send to Coventry (or to watch Man U) anyone who questioning is not ot there liking just like the Trust were. They are even going to broadcast it on Argyle player. Something asked for for PASB meetings but somehow not forthcoming. Go figure. It should set the standard now and their should be no excuses going forward. |

| I don't think our President has any more power than the PASB or trust. Club employees regularly read this and the other boards - and while only a tiny percentage of fans actually contribute, the stirrings of discontent with the current situation are obvious. By letting the President make the announcement though, the PASB would seem to be even more redundant than before. |

| I see that the Dutchy College has started a new multi million pound development at Stoke Climsland, it's nice to know that the cost of a concrete block doesn't seem to be having much of an effect on Midas, the builder. |

| Loving this little gem in particular: - El Pres wrote:
- If the Club wants a big turn out it is far better off saying 'We are PAFC and we want to talk to our fans' put it on the OS, herald, twitter etc and really push it
Which should of course read: - El Pres wrote:
- If the Club wants a big turn out it is far better off saying 'We are PAFC and we want to talk to our fans, apart from the Trust, most of the PASB, anybody Newell doesn't like, anybody with justified complaints, anybody whose private Facebook page has ended up in the hands of a director, anybody who thinks it's wrong to hire a PI to investigate another fan, and anybody who's ever asked Webb a straight question and pushed him for an answer' put it on the OS, herald, twitter etc and really push it
Interesting to see also that none of the so-called keyboard warriors are expected to turn up. I wouldn't bet on that, |

| It's all getting oh so macho and posturing over there.
It misses the fact that there should be no questions to ask. It should be a one man and it's dog turnout if the Board had allowed the PASB to work its magic.
Of course it makes the PASB/Trust look rubbish and moribund whilst making The President look radiant, which is more than likely the point. |

| Back on topic.
One of the first major subcontracts needed to be in place is with the specialist demolition firm. The news today that Mayflower West car park needs to be flattened early in the New Year and that the Hemerdon Mine redevelopment gets ever nearer will mean the local firms competing for the contract will have other options, so won't be as sharp with their pencils. |

| I'll be interested if Sir X-Isle of Pious The Bishop of Peverell will condescend to make an appearance. This should be an ideal forum from which to spout his diatribe and besmirch all those non believers. |

| On a serious note I see that George Clarkes amazing spaces is coming to an end of its second series, for anybody who hasn't watched it George and his little hippy engineer/builder find a caravan and cut the front off it then hinge it so that you can open it up to make a really big "space" a couple of times in the summer. Ideal for the Ministand, I expect someone with a double decker would get the main spot on the show but the Ministand would make a good filler piece. |

Also on the dinnertime news - Sherford get's the nod to start construction early in the new year. I don't think Mr Brent is going to find anyone to build his mini-stand! Perhaps we'll have to get the Bulgarians and the Romanians over early! |

| Looking at the pasoti thread there does not seem to be much interest in the topic other than from Newell (posting as IJN and spowell92) and his bootboys, postcode and Ollie10.
Will it achieve anything as Brent has shown very little regard for the wants of the fans so far? Perhaps he could be questioned on his ludicrous £1m a year turnover prediction. |

The Bulgarians and Romanians will be the only ones able to afford them lol Plus the usual shite from this council, lets build homes with no leisure/recreation or decent transport links. Laira Bridge is going to be chaos once this is finished. |

He always has to chuck in the line about leaving his self imposed exile like it's something he deserves credit for He's not in any exile atall, apart from under the username Chris Webb. I'm sure he's very much active under a different name as he was on here maybe he's a forker this time, or maybe a knifer. He's been the spooner afterall. |

When he was offered the 'job' of Argyle President, it was to promote the club throughout the south west. So his 'self imposed exile' is a dereliction of duty surely. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

So his 'self imposed exile' from the internet websites is a deriliction of duty is it.......I can't remember previous Argyle Presidents having used the PAFC websites.....in fact the previous President never came near Plymouth in the whole of his life....that is assuming my aging memory serves me correctly. |
