| I have just come off the phone to the Portsmouth FC Fans Trust.
I have offered all the support and advice we can.
Remember our hours of need and the rallying other clubs done for us.
Get ready to start repaying.
THE FANS UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED. |

| Yes, at least Pompey fans can look back at some good times if any pain now comes their way - some world class players, an extended spell in the big time and an FA Cup win.
And another thing, their problems will be sorted out a lot quicker than ours and they'll certainly NEVER sink as low as us. |

| Good job by the Argyle Trust in making contact so quickly. |

| Not that I would wish ill on anyone, but wouldn't it be nice if Ridsdale spotted a bigger cash opportunity for himself up there. Go on Pete, you know it makes sense... off you go... just imagine a life without the Axis of Ego and their Ultras. |

| I seem to remember a lot of folk hoping CSI would pick us when they were sniffing around for a club...they had an impressive mission statement on their website. There's chancers at every turn, in every walk of life these days.
As an aside, how pleasant to return from my hols to see so many new and familiar names contributing on here. Restores my faith somewhat. |

| Maybe I'm missing something but Pompey don't appear to be in too much shit to me. Is the club actually in adminstration? They haven't been docked any points. And there's already 'interested parties' waiting in the wings. Pompey certainly won't go down the shambolic route we went down. I'm sure they'll be fine and still be a Championship club next season. Us, however................ |

They always say that though. When Ridsdale was on his walking holiday, he was claiming that he was representing a consortium of 'investors', then they went away and then he was talking to several interested parties and administration wasn't an option and you know the rest..... If he doesn't throw his hat in the ring here, I'll be mightily surprised. |

| Strong rumours from within Fratton Park that they are going to lose 10 points and have dear Brenda installed in the driving seat. I'm with Peter, a perfect Ridsdale opportunity. "In view of the now stable situation in Plymouth, with a strong President and Trust to oversee things, I feel the time is right for me to move on to pastures new and help other football clubs in trouble, wherever they may be............." |

| I remember a debate with Babba on Pasoti regarding Pompey and he was saying that they deserved what they got and it could never happen to us as we had such a well intended board of prudent directors! As much as I dislike our south coast cousins no fans of any club should have to go through this shit time and again because of tw@tty owners!
The Trust seems to be getting their act together by things like helping other Trust and building bridges with the community, it's what it should be doing instead of promoting their own egos and beard growing, good work! |

THE FANS UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED. Well done Woz. Gareth, Richard, Tim and yourself (and the women in the background) seem to be promoting the Trust well, with a number of very good initiatives. You've also all stayed on, when it wasn't fashionable anymore. I've never previously been a fan of the Trust, but I think your actions have made me change my views.

Exactly my sentiments Ali, there's a different approach from the Trust, there's no "look at me, look at me", it's just working away in the background promoting the things that Trust are intended to do. I said the Trust was dead, but with this new lot running the show I think I could be proved wrong and I hope that I am. |

Maybes treat meself fer Christmas...a Trust Membership and a sackful of midget porn, live the dream. If the gays at PASOTI Towers think that the Trust is something they should just drop as they did, then I feel that it is something positively worth holding up! |

| I am a member of the Trust my number is in my sig. I strongly believe every club should have a supporters trust and the vast majority including the premiership big boys do. Trusts are there to speak up for fans and represent us all in a fair and just way to safe guard the clubs future something we lacked before the 11th hour during the dark periods. Its more important than ever to keep the trust active and remaining strong despite high profile individuals dropping them like a hot potato for club roles as soon as the glamour wore off. Even in a less militant role the trust is needed and needs more "other side of the tracks" people to join so gob and mock join if you can and others too |

| Phenom, I probably will over the next couple of days now that those that used it for personal gain have fulfilled their ambitions and dumped the Trust on its knees. Hopefully this will be a new fresh start for the Trust with genuine characters involved. |

| I recently joined the Trust - for many of the reasons outlined above. However, one of my worries is that the spilt possible between The Trust and the usual suspects on pasoti could lead to problems - and you can already see battle lines forming. And, if that does happen, sadly there will be only one winner. |

| Sadly I think you’re right about the splits FunnyMan, there shouldn’t be winners or losers, all fans would be winners with a strong Trust.
Owing to one or two characters involved it was always going to come to a battle of some sort, even if it is all being kept ever so gentlemanly, we can all read between the lines.
I think a growing number of fans are now seeing the reality of the situation, hence this site becoming more popular and growing by the day. The strange thing is, I can see a complete reversal of roles coming up with a majority of ADT users backing and supporting a true Plymouth Argyle FC Trust and a loud and powerful within Pasoti minority, rocking the boat.
All Argyle fans are potential Trust members and most are not Pasoti users , It’ll be interesting to see how this pans out but I've had a change of mind, if it comes to it my money would be on the PAFC Fans Trust to become very powerful in the long term.

Blimey! Controversial! And unlikely to go down well with the pasoti hierarchy. I think the "gentlemanly" veneer is thin viz the number of times there are immediate responses to anything pro-Trust - some of them critical, some of them pointing out how important pasoti is. I hope you are right - and wrong, as pasoti, for all its "irritations", is a powerful web-site with a great potential to rally fans. |
