| I think the crucial thing here is that new shares are valued at £1.44 while all of the shares are valued at £1.
Effectively the club has had a cash boost of
.445404 * 2233057 = 994,612.52
... or basically £1m.
Level of share holdings as before if shares issued pro rata to previous levels.
I could be wrong but it looks like Brent has actually bunged the club £500k (or near as dammit).
Gosh! There's a first!
Could be wrong of course. |

| Jumping the gun there Frank. Could be absolutely anything. Could be some form of asset revaluation, could be previous "Liverpool" profits being "capitalised". Modern day balance sheets are works of art conjuring things out of thin air. I very much doubt Jimmy has put his hand in his pocket outside of cash earned by the club. |

I think we can safely say (for now) that John Lloyds blatant whatsapp group let that little beauty go in my direction knowing full well I'd happily put my name to it and whack it up. Think it was TWGU yesterday (might have been another) who commented on photo of Bent and Dunsford in "staged" contract signing clearly making a point of where IS that contractor It was an excellent point. |

| Unless the shares are being openly traded (as on the Stock Exchange) share valuation means feck all.
I could create Grovehill PLC for £100 with 100 £1 shares and turn round six months later and say the same shares are now worth £100 each because I value the business at £10,000. doesn't mean that anyone would pay more than a quid (if that) for a share.

| The majority shareholders at Argiggle are/were reputedly expert at increasing shareholder value.
How that is achieved and the quality of the product, present and future to paying customers, is open to question and debate.
I know where my money is............in my pocket.

| What would the value of the club be to buy nowadays? If you value it at shares held it must be about £12m. |

In its current awful state including the horseshoe combined with below average players on the books I'd say £5.5 million absolute tops for any third party interested in buying lock stock and barrel on a good day |

the Club is worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay for it. The number & nominal value of the shares is irrelevant I expect that Sunderland FC accounts showed a number of shares with a "value" However the club was given away for nothing |

| Widely ridiculed in some quarters. Scoop or not.
And Mr Bullitt had it here first. Not me. So more credit to him than me is due.
Still happened though.
What part of "more popcorn than you could possibly imagine" has been proven to be wrong? |

What part of "more popcorn than you could possibly imagine" has been proven to be wrong? Credit for what actually? Reporting some news that was already in the public domain? Same old Boris. |
