| A long day and a long story. This might take a long time.
Meanwhile, having been wide awake during the night, I didn't wake up until 9:30. This will be a short day. |

| It will drag from 3pm till about 10-2-5, after which normal service will apply.
In other news, there is actual blue sky and sunshine visible in Cornwall this morning. WTF is that all about? |

| Have been up to the park to take some seedlings from my garden to my allotment greenhouse, and nab a few leeks, brussels and kale in the process. And some heavenly parsnips. It's pretty miserable up there, blowing a gale nearly. Anybody who pops up this afternoon seriously needs to understand why they can't think of anything better to do. It's not as if it's a community enterprise anymore, and even the Board members tell you you're not welcome. |

It's easy. Take them to Lidls on the way there and let them choose a chocolate bar / cake / cookie (one each) for after swimming. And, of course, leave said items in the car. When that ceases to work Peggy you could always try Seadogs solution to a problem and throw small veggies, potatoes, onions and such things at them. Mind you that might only work if said small people start shitting on your lawn. |

| Mount Edgcumbe and beyond today. The camelias are beginning and won't be long before the smaller of the magnolia burst forward. It's all looking a bit weather beaten, and probably the lowest tide I've ever seen, but glad to see PCC are still keeping up with the pruning/management etc. It's an absolute gem of a public asset, and credit where credit is due, I actually think PCC are doing a better REAL job than the often too romantic National Trust who often think they're putting on a stage show. Not that I don't support the NT, but well done PCC. Thank gawd Edgcumbe doesn't have a plump professional football club attatched to give cover to nefarious activities, but then Edgcumbe is grade 1 listed landscape. A pity Central Park ain't. |
