You've got snow!? That's just showing off. Meanwhile down here we are going to have a storm of apocalyptic proportions. |

| Just thickened my white sauce for the pie. For those interested in milk, I used whole milk |

| Do you guys keep 2 or 3 sorts of milk in the fridge. I just keep semi and top up with double cream if required. |

| I do the same as you Pete - semi-skimmed better for the waistline on a day to day basis. Do you remember when whole milk had the cream on the top? My sister and I used to fight over getting the top of the milk for our cornflakes. |

I dare not mention any of our fairer members, but on to grassy matters, how can I stop a cat from shitting on my lawns? I try to chase the cnut and throw small items of veg, onions/ potatoes etc when I am home, but for 4 weeks the twat has free reign. _______________________________________ COYG!

From experience I have found nothing works better than a gun but that`s against the law. But if you want something to work when you are away this device below works best. Place the device in the garden and when the cat/postman walks infront of the sensor the sprinkler is activated for a few seconds.Have a look at amazon they do them. Plus it also waters the plants at the same time, great if you are away for a while. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| In an update on milk news, I'm having a cup of tea with a bottle of sterilised milk I bought in Portugal in August, it was out of date in 10th December but tastes as bad as if it were fresh out the shop. |

| Took the small people swimming after school today and - at last - I've found the key to persuading them to get out of the pool, have a quick shower (as opposed to a very slow one), dry their hair on a towel instead of faffing about with the hair dryers for about half an hour, get dressed and get in the flippin car.
It's easy. Take them to Lidls on the way there and let them choose a chocolate bar / cake / cookie (one each) for after swimming. And, of course, leave said items in the car. |

| Peggy there are only so many times you can do that before they remind you about the chocolate as they get out of the car for their swim! _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife!
