Its been sunny here as well but I have been stuck in side working!   

Could be worse, I could have been at home helping the kids do their home learning (homework in my day.)   

It's raining here now, again.

I need some glasses, I just never think to get any when I'm out then I get home and I can't read the small print. Mind you with the size of some of it a microscope might be better.

I missed that he'd died, I met him at Sterling Uni. where he was an alumni very interesting bloke and a great although pretty twisted author, I love the Crow Road and the Wasp Factory but not so keen on his Iain M Banks Sci Fi work, I'll dig out the DID program on iplayer.

He sounded like a really nice regular bloke - agree about the Sci-Fi stuff though - but a prodigious talent nevertheless
