In view of the fact that the coming storm will bring death and devastation to the area tomorrow night & into Monday, I would suggest that now is the time for people to pray/abase themselves/sacrifice another living being and beg for mercy.

In the meantime & in case none of the above works, any last words could be posted here.

Repent for the end of the world is nigh.

Listening to Argyle getting taken apart at Mansfield (but bizarrely not conceding any goals yet - ht)

Drinking Cobra beer. A slightly strange experience. Feel like I ought to be in an Indian restaurant.

Been very, very busy today. Very busy. Haven't stopped. Started to feel very strange and floaty and proper poorly about three quarters of an hour ago. Realised I hadn't had any tea, and I only had a small dinner (soup).

Just finished my tea. Feeling bleddy GREAT now.

Not looking forward to the clocks going back as Sunday's my day to get up with tinyman and this week so far the latest he's slept in has been 6am with 5.25am being the norm.

If he's up at 5.30am tomorrow it'll actually be 4.30am and a bloody long time until I can wake the missus up.

I'm off to buy some new chickens tomorrow, or is it today. Big fair in the morning because of sweet chestnut harvest, which means the clocks go back, I assume. Normally the church bells ring the time for us, this year however, god has demanded a proper water supply to said church, so the bells have been silent.

Encountered Sir Francis Drake earlier on. It's just possible that he thought I didn't have any bananas about my person, but I did. Cunningly concealed, they was.

Been swimming. It was wetter outside the pool. That was some of the heaviest rain I've been caught in for years.

Cunningly, I'm going to refrain from putting the bins out tonight.

If they haven't been blown in to next door overnight, I'll put them out in the morning.

All about planning, innit.

Got woke up at 4.45 am by a tiny person who was wide awake and wanted to party Sad

I know the clocks have just gone back but that's ridiculous. Other than milkmen and returning clubbers there are no other good reasons to be up in the middle of the night.

Bless his little bouncy socks!

I used to have to get up very early quite often in a previous life to get to distant meetings - it was either that or spend yet another night in some dreary hotel. Luckily, I lived near Stansted, which meant (a) sometimes I could fly to the meetings, and (b) there were trains very, very early in the morning. One time, when I had to be in Manchester by 10 or something, I got on the train about 4.30am, along with a handful of other suited, booted and briefcase types, only to find it half full of Arsenal supporters on their way home from a European fixture. They were still on the day before (ie drinking), while we were on the next day (ie desperate for a cup of coffee and/or a bit more sleep). A bit mind blowing.

I managed to resist the urge to take the can of lager I was offered.

There's no bless him about it. I'm almost dead at that time and it's seriously affecting my ability to function properly.I almost put the wrong password in my Pasoti account earlier Very Happy

He does go to bed earlier though now, he's already asleep, but nothing compensates for being dragged out of your cosy bed at stupid o'clock and then having to watch an endless loop of Monkey See Monkey Do episodes affraid

Oh dear. But before you know it you'll be shouting at him to get up AT ONCE or risk being late for school AGAIN!

In other news, I'm trying to imagine the facilities on board the black pasty. They must be totes amazeballs for it to be worth paying £20 to go to Torquay and back - that's more than a first class rail ticket (even without a railcard).

S Powell, who really isn't Newell Razz has been asking what going on a coach is like because he's never been on one but might consider using the supporters coach at Christmas because they sound great jocolor

I'm thinking of having a transplant. Have my heart removed & replaced with another liver. I will then be able to drink more with less damage.

I always believed in the old fashioned approach with the little ones and their sleeping habits, as the old saying goes, "a little laudenam goes a long way."
