| I missed the first half due to being in the pub, I only realised that the game was on in the other side of the bar hat I was in when I left. Says it all I spose. Thought the second half was ok, Townsend was great and is what we are looking for, Stevie G was ok but should have buried the shot he had. Don't see your problem with Shrek Tis? He scored the opener last night and set G up with a sitter that he missed, check his stats and tell me someone else who would score as many? Still not convinced by Wilshere, Sturridge was good, offside was FOOKIN annoying, Welbeck is quality. Good result, mop of table into a must win with Poland to top group and onto Brazil. Ps Punchy you plassy! Fuc k the premier league. |

Well he is a fat Scouse tw@ for a start. Stats need to show far more than just the scores on the doors, Shrek gives the ball away nearly as much as Stevie Me, his pass completion including all them stupid flicks was atrocious not to mention the number of times he broke up our attacks and passed the ball sideways. Second half he stared to look the part as him, Sturrock and Welbeck seemed to work out how to stay out of each others way better. As regards last night's and many of his other goals, Sturrock would have got last nights and just about any of the others while contributing to the functioning of the team instead of fooking it up.. |

| I still don't think we have a better player for popping up at the right time with a finish, agree that we need to have players more in tune around him but until ewe can settle on a regular line up that won't happen, not Rooneys fault. |

Certainly not 5,6,7 years ago when he was so much more of a fat Scouser and he used to bully the opposition, now he is more of an effete hair do. No it's not really his fault but the absence from Manure's line up of RVP resulting in them in the bottom half of the table tells a story, Sturridge is the better option on current form and either of them would benefit from playing with Lambert, especially if Woy can be convinced to stick with Townsend and introduce some real energy into the middle of the park. Bottom line is that we do not have a surfeit of top class players, Gerrard is too old and was never a holding player, Lamps can't play in a two in midfield either,Carrick is the best bet but he doesn't bring the kind of energy the Boxheads have in spades, Wilshere has to play in the absence of the Ox who I thought was turning into a player before he got hurt, we have loads of very average has beens and a few promising wannabes, without protection the central defence will be found wanting. I am V hopeful for Tuesday night despite Woy bringing in that little dick Sterling. |
