| I was telling some non-football fan colleagues of mine about the school thing today. They could not get their heads around it - until I told them what kind of school it is....... We are going to be a laughing stock..... |

I hope your are right, but I can not see HHP not being built Well you are more in the know than me but I don't think James Brent has the money to pay for it as he doesn't seem to want to pay anything with his own money so far. The current order for HHP is £40 million isn't it? Can't feel too much sympathy for Webby, privatisation is a done deal so he'll be toast. It explains why he is so quiet. |

| The grandstand (the real one, ours) will be demolished soonest. Jimmy will make his final demands (some might call it blackmail but it's all agreed anyhow), it'll look touch and go for a fortnight or so and then building will commence. |

| Can't see it being built at any time until there have been proper plans drawn up. As for the money I don't see JB having that much to be honest and what he does will mostly be in assets. This would be why the school and dentist surgery will be built for the funding via grants. Also JB already acquired £2million + for the pavilions and I wouldn't be surprised if PCC have promised more for the ice rink being built. |

I reckon you aren't far off the money with that. The judicial review period started last week, it lasts six weeks, also the club haven't ordered the temporary buildings they need which incidentally take about 6-7 weeks to deliver! |

Tbh I have no idea, I think it's a period where one can be requested, like a cooling off period. I could be completely wrong mind! |

I could be completely wrong mind! Bristol Rovers has been given one. Quote/ Bristol Rovers' move to Frenchay hit by judicial review warning Bristol Rovers proposed new stadium from above Bristol Rovers Football Club wants to move to a new 21,700-seat stadium in Frenchay Bristol Rovers' plans to move from the Memorial Stadium to a new ground in Frenchay could be challenged in court. BBC Bristol's Robin Markwell says an anonymous party is considering seeking judicial review of the planning consent granted for the Memorial Stadium.quote/ Could it happen here? |

Needs to be requested through [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]There hasn't been one lodged as yet and I wouldn't hold your breath as it is subject to costs and the National Planning casework Unit have already stated they believe decision should stay with PCC. There are good grounds for a Judicial Review appeal but it would take a judge months to make a decision that contrary to PCC Planning Authorities consideration only of the A1 retail units the whole supporting development i.e.
- cinema 6875 sq m
- school 1607 sq m
- franchise café 230 sq m
- hotel 5222 sq m
- retail 3629 sq m
- retail stand 1392 sq m
- Sub total 18955 sq m
With the car park taking up another 10,302 sq m in fact constitutes a large "out of town" retail and leisure development of > 5000sq m and they haven't followed Govt guidelines in line with Town & Country Planning Act 1990 for Planning Inspectorate approval. |
