The AFT won't rock the boat in my opinion, because if they do they'll be ignored by the club and blasted by fuckwits like X-isle and Postey who spunk their trousers just thinking about the ministand and worship the ground Brent walks on. The PASB will be divided about it and will schedule a meeting about it for dreckly.
I agree people should make as much noise as possible. Harass Webb, he's the club president after all, phone the club, write to the club and if Brent keeps ignoring the issue then boycott a game or plan a protest for when the tv cameras are there for the pompey game.
Don't shave until it's resolved, that could make the world of difference!
Anything that hurts Brent in the pocket would be my suggestion, amazing how quickly people see your point of view when it's costing you money.
Maybe the GT'S could ask for their loan back? I very much hope that you are wrong Jock about the AFT not asking questions because if you are not, I would want my membership fee returned! As things stand it seems to me that Brent has stripped the Club of the few things that bring in income to provide income for his fast food shops etc. Now factor in a debt that will sooner or later fall on the shoulders of the Club and there's no way I can see the Club surviving, the very best we can hope for is a Conference existence. |

| Hopefully he hasn't got the money to develop Home Park and fucks off. Argyle will be one helluva proposition for someone with money and ambition now that the council have given away land and removed all of the covenants. |

| Who would want to take over Argyle Jock with no assets and a load of football league debt, you couldn't give the club away in its present position, could you. |

| How about someone that could make a killing from land that was worth sweet FA but now, with planning permission, is worth shit loads?

Very true. So asking £400k for 20% and no seat on the board was, basically, a cold, calculated piss-take. |

Are you on crack? PCC have granted planning permission for pretty much anything on the land. Cinema, Hotel, Ice-rink, School, Dentist and various retail and food and drink outlets. Brent is going to make a fortune out of developing Higher Home Park so why wouldn't someone else? Someone much more ambitious? All this reluctant bidder shit is feckin hilarious. Brent got a feckin speeding ticket zooming down to meet Guilfoyle, Ridsdale and the council. Now if he hasn't got the money to carry out his various ventures and had to walk away there would be plenty interested in the development and hopefully they would want to own the football club as well, unlike Jimmy B. To him Argyle are a bothersome distraction he has to endure for a small while longer before he ups sticks. They might also see the sense in incorporating bars that would attract hundreds of punters wanting beer and a pasty or burger, soft drinks for the kids at £1 a go, packets of crisps at 75p and ice-creams etc. etc. etc. They might even see the benefit of attracting thousands more customers by investing in the team and giving those customers entertainment and bringing success to the club. It's hardly feckin rocket science. |

But Argyle don't own any land - the "stadium" is owned by PCC & the development land by Brent. The football club has no assets whatsoever which is why the Trust turned down the chance to spend £400,000 on 20% of sweet FA. |

Yes, fair and valid point David but none-the-less Brent will make a packet from it and the only reason that he has that opportunity is because of the Club attachment and a ton of false promises that he provided to gain public support. |
