| The upside is I'm getting paid for doing it. But I won't be home until 7 tonight. |

| I'm writing a feature that includes some bits about cell microprocessor architecture and how Synergising Procesing Elements (SPEs) work, another another bit about haptic feedback, another about augmented reality and another about 8K resolution output. |

Sorry, read that three times, used Google Translate and I'm still none the wiser. It's exciting stuff. I'll forward you the link when I've finished it and it's published (It's all about the technology that will be used in PlayStation 4 in a couple of years) |

| Got a few hours' paid work later. Not sure what to wear.
You know the way you can grow hyacinth bulbs in water in a see-through thing? Can you grow other bulbs (eg daffodils) like that, too? |

| Spent most of the day sat in an IT lecture.
It's not my cup of tea at all, but apparently I have to do the course.
Needless to say, it was a right thobber-thon. |

Oh I dunno. Took my parrot to a museum once. Didn't help. He failed his history 'A' level. |

wont flower this year though! Oh. Thank you. The four year old (but only just) has a six year old sibling. I've been growing hyacinths in water, and the six year old's loved checking on their progress. But they're not going to last much longer, so I need to think of another indoor growing project. Might go for mustard and cress. Having got the six year old to school on time (a rarity), the four year old (but only just) and I have had a hectic morning. Colouring, cutting and sticking, making a lot of noise with cymbals, tambourine and bells, going to the park, you name it. Doubt I'll last the rest of the day without having a nap at some point. |

It means sunrises and sunsets are 'proper'. |

| Very pretty, almost pastel, sunset here this afternoon. Pink sky at night, shepherd's wotsit.
Back to the four year old (but only just) for a moment. She now keeps a little pair of slippers here. I've seen this kind of thing before: it's usually followed by the arrival of a toothbrush and shaving gear ... |

| Ah. No. Yes. But. Isn't it.
I was thinking more of the 'I'll move in gradually so she won't notice' scenario. |

| Had a cracking fantastic dream last night. Can't remember any of it, but woke up in a really good, warm mood.
Hoping to hang on to the good, warm mood for at least another half hour. |
