I did some shopping in the Co-oP whilst visiting the Post Office and guess what, I bought milk.

After a reasonable morning, weather-wise, it's now raining. You couldn't make it up, could you?

When the Arab looks out of his black tent at the blazing desert, he does not say "Oh look the sun is shining" When the Eskimo peeps out of his igloo at the frozen waste, he does not say "Oh dear it is snowing". Similarly in Plymouth you do not say "It is raining" as in the first two cases it is to be expected.

I'm going to the pub at 5pm. It's for a 'meeting' with my business colleague but I'm still quite excited because it's the first time I've been to the pub in the four weeks since the baby was born. They serve Stowford Press at the pub we're going to, which is good.

I should be back in time for Masterchef.

PS Ran out of coffee earlier.

By bizarre coincidence, they also have Stowford Press at my current favourite watering hole.

I walked past a Post Office today. Having read all the stories on this thread I was tempted to pop in and see what all the fuss was about.

But I didnt.

After all, you dont know who might be watching.

I've got a busy day today. I probably won't have time to go to the post office. Not that I want to go but I couldn't if I did.

Not going to the Post Office today. I also have plenty of milk and the shed door is fine.

I won't be gracing the Post Office with my presence today, either. Stocks of milk, coffee and bananas are adequate for the next few days. I haven't dared try the shed door again: if I get it open, it might not close again.

Started doing some work for somebody else yesterday. I've done this work before, eight or nine years ago. The hourly rate's gone up by 18p since then.

Bet you are asleep in the chair before they are remotely tired.

My favourite dessert ever, was a sugared ring doughnut, topped with softee ice cream and a sprinkling of chocolate sauce and nuts.

And the doughnut was always warm.

A 'Brown Derby', it was called. They sold it in Wimpy.

I miss Wimpy. Sad

Please dont, I have grown used to you as you are. Change it on Pasoti if you must. I changed to my real name over there as I was getting a lot of abuse at the old Argyle Talk time and I am fairly well know as a long term Argyle fan under my real name. Season ticket holder from 1964 to 1984.
