Andre Blackman set to sign

Talented left-back but is a bit of a nutcase. Good signing if he's sorted his head out, but only time will tell.

Bit worrying how few games he seems to have played considering the number of clubs he's been at but let's trust Sherries judgment and give him a go.

Anyone remember Mark Dennis who left back for QpR and Southampton from the 80's now he was a nutcase!

Bit strange him dropping out of the game altogether and then signing for Celtic! He's obviously got something if they took a punt. Any articles floating around demonstrating his level of nutcasery??

Looking at his history, this smacks of desperation, from both sides.

According to the Daily Record he once chinned fourteen Rangers fans outside a Glasgow hair salon and he also appeared in an episode of Rab C Nesbitt dressed as a goat and eating a cheese and turnip sandwich. Is that nutcasery enough for you ?

If Terry the bloodstained Butcher can't control him what chance has sherry got ? still he's only here on a short term contract so if he turns out to be crap or a tw@t or a crap tw@t we can show him the door pronto.

Very underwhelmed. Obviously got talent to some extent but looks to be plunging towards non-league.

I know he had a few run-ins in Scotland and he was sacked by Bristol City for driving without insurance. By all accounts it's an attitude problem so I can only see it ending in tears for us as well.

He has to have talent though, he was once said to be the biggest talent outside the Premier League and has been on the books of Celtic, Chelsea and Arsenal I believe so if he does knuckle down it could be a brilliant signing.

Smiffy will have a blue fit about this one.Looks like last chance saloon for this guy,one thing is for sure-if he fucks about with Sheridan,then he won't last long down here either.Lets hope it works out.

Looks like a desperate gamble, brents non investment in the playing side becomes evident with every crap signing,if he last's to christmas it will be a mural job.

He sounds more of an ATD wierdo than a 2 faced pasotite so welcome Andre to Plymouth and the theatre of greens.

He can be as big a prick as he likes off the pitch (well within reason - obviously not to McCormick levels) as long as he does the business on it.

No-one seems to know the answer to that one. We've signed a few players that others have wanted ie, Morgan, Allessandra and Boco so I don't think it's QUITE as bad as some make out. Mid-table budget, mid-table squad.

Can see he can be a decent footballer, a little naive at times, but has pace, strenghth
