| Not a big fan of Bairstow, this boy Agar could be a thorn for fifteen or more years. |

| Broad should have gone there. Clear catch. It's a poor show he didn't walk to be honest. |

| Nobody walks these days hairy. Almost makes amends for yesterday's umpiring cock-ups but not quite. |

| Great partnership between Bell and Broad, inching England towards a huge lead, currently 261 with 4 wickets left.
Bell n.o. on 95 and Broad still there on 47.
I wouldn't be super confident of the win yet but it's going to be very tough for the Aussies to win now.
Selfishly I'd love Bell to get 200+ as I've backed him as top scorer for the series for England, but if the lead gets to 350 it should easily be enough.
Broad's decision was awful, as has the umpiring been in general but I doubt any of the players on either side would walk even if they knew they'd hit it. It's not very sporting but that's modern cricket.
Maybe the umpires should have the right to ask for a replay if they're not sure, as well as the teams two referrals. |

I agree Tis I just don't see him as the answer. Ok in limited overs cricket but not in test cricket. He has too many technical deficiencies to make it in the test arena. I hope I am proved wrong but right now he doesn't look the part. |

| 137 to win,4 wickets left.Heavy odds in favour of England but i suppose you never know, the Aussies have one or two decent bats left.Should be interesting anyway, good test match whatever happens. |

| its was lucky they managed to get the flurry of wickets near the end of the day as if they went into day 5 with 3-4 out the game would have been australia's to lose |

| Anderson bags Agar and Starc, both caught by Cook who just drops a chance in the slips!
84 wanted by Australia, 2 wickets needed by England. It's going to be a nail biter. |

| You could hear he hit the ball without a replay there. Pretty low scoring but it was pretty exciting and tense. Good win. |

| Superb test match, one of the very best and hopefully it continues in that vein, close matches but England winning.I was never a fan of Anderson until the last 3 years or so but must admit that he has matured into an all time great England bowler,up there with people like Trueman,Snow and Willis in my time as a cricket follower. Talking of cricket, just trawling through the Cornwall league results this morning and found this; [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I used to play in the same team as Andy Brenton at Gunnislake, taught him all he knows! He always was a talented and aggressive bat but 311 is totally mind boggling-i know a few of the Tideford players and there are a couple of very decent bowlers in their attack,so it wouldn't have been due to complete tripe being served at him.Amazing achievement in all sorts of ways.Pity old Thai Green isn't still with us,i remember him saying that Luckett was one of his favourite clubs. |

They draw heavily on Plymouth players, would very much doubt of any of them actually live in Tideford.I've played against Dave Lockett and Dave Holland [who both were bowling yesterday] in the past, the former was a very good swing bowler, taken a lot of wickets at a good level, and the latter was a sort of nagging, flat spin bowler.Brents must have been on a real mission yesterday,i do remember when we were playing for Gunni one day at Bugle he was out for 75 and our score was about 85,so he could go mad even back then, but no matter what the bowling was like yesterday,it still takes some doing to hit 311. |
