Yeah, I'm gonna give it a go, Bumble thinks the wicket may break up a bit by day four and Broady is getting the bird. |

| Are there any other cricket fans on here?
Good start from England, although a shame they couldn't finish the job from 150/6. England still need a big first innings total to become favourites for this test IMHO.

| I fell asleep watching it, Australia seemed to be batting well (60/1) when I was last conscious. I see the Aussies finished on 273/8 which seems a good effort from England as it looked a good batting pitch.

| The Aussies aren't bitter Stuart Fraud LiNk Hopefully it'll carry on and lead to more 5 wicket hauls for Broad! 27 year old medium paced bowler interview |

| Aussies all out Run out- aussies went for an optimistic second run and Carberry fielded well. 295, Hadden on 94. Broad booed off the field |

| Usual terrible start by England with the bat in any first test in overseas climes.Don't know what it is but maybe the relatively short timescale between arrival and first test is something to do with it.Until a few years ago,any England touring team would play at least four proper first class matches against competitive opposition before the real thing to ensure that batsman were truly in tune with the conditions but players don't seem to want to be on tour for that period of time now, even though the off field circumstances are so much better than the days of yore.Certainly a recurring pattern with England and they have a very tough job ahead to save this one,to say the least. |

| Pathetic overall performance, seriously losing faith in Trott. |

| Fook me,that was a hammering and no excuses. Some very worrying issues to chew over,Trott was all over the place and Prior is but a shadow of the excellent forcing bat of not so long ago.My guess is that faith will be shown in the vast majority of the team but time is fast running out for some and results are now urgently needed.England can't possibly play as badly again as they did in Brisbane but certainly need to show a more positive and confident approach if they are to get back in the series. |

| The England team need a hairdryer treatment the style Sir Alex Ferguson was famous for as England in this test match were disgustingly poor. Much needs to be done in training over the next 10 days to ensure the 2nd test isnt going to be handed to Australia again. |
