| Would not be a proper season without Freathy forecasting doom and gloom. Trouble is the last 3 seasons he has been right. |

| As long as we keep winning, and 3 0 is a convincing score line with a team of kids in first half, then I will be happy. I do believe PS scores matter, it's all about going into the season with some momentum. |

The score was meaningless. The result only slightly important.
Tivvy should be a more important game but even that is only a preparation. Sense at last. |

| If anyone takes any notice of the result of the first pre season friendly where we played a completely different side in each half then they're being a bit silly really. |

But I guess I'm just a weirdo like that for enjoying a game of football on a beautiful Summer evening and seeing some of our new/young players. I enjoyed it more than any game last season.
Fwiw, their keeper kept it from being way more than three and we missed some sitters too. Really could and should have been a lot more, players look way fitter than normal in pre-season. It was only against Elburton and finishing perhaps left a bit to be desired but so far so good. I used to be exactly the same sam, but time, disappointment and failure will mean one day you wont give two hoots that day WILL come I can assure you. could you drink at the game itself ? deckchairs a nice can of two of ale and footie - sounds a nice evening. |
