Sadly, it's all about public perception and image with these people. You don't have to climb mountains in exotic places to raise money for good causes.

As always, predictable self promotion.

What's actually wrong with doing something like this? Those participating get a bucket list experience, St Lukes receive donations and exposure. What's the major issue? I've sponsored someone who's done something similar, I donated to someone who grew a moustache too - neither of those people were doing it to obtain an MBE.

They all need to publicise this to raise as much as they can. Newell's using his website to promote it.

What exactly is wrong with raising money for a hospice that cares for people with a terminal illness and their immediate families?

It's the fact the usual suspects have to use it to further promote their massive ego.

Why do they need a forward party and an advisor to climb a mountain lol!

Probably because neither Nikkkkkkkkkkkkkk or Newell are physically capable of dong it but still want to go. As for the ego thing, that's just a subjective interpretation. They need to publicise it to get donations.

It is certainly the done thing, Zyph. So, in that sense, I have no problem with it.

But I actually agree with suffered on this one. One day I would like to be approached by someone being sponsored to care for some old people's gardens or to home-visit people who are house-bound or similar.

exactly knecht who would not want to go on a free walking holiday in peru, why don't they just raise money locally to help the hospice and like you say help disavantaged local people, also with nool being a well know eco warrior i thought he might have considered his carbon footprint!

That might be me in a few years knecht.....I'll pencil your name in my little black book.

There must be a large initial financial out-lay to go to Peru.....now that money could make a difference.

Sorry I'm out of the loop on this one.... let me get this right...
So Nikkk, Newell and Webb are all going as advisors because they went up kilimajaro?

so...

Why, if they are they going, are they not doing it with everyone else?
and
Who pays for the flight of these three out to Peru? Nikkk? Wouldn't the money be better spent not flying these three out and buying a ticket for somebody experienced who knows how to actually do this macho pichu thing....

(fair play to them raising for st lukes though, good cause and I donate when I can, but I'm just a bit perplexed as to why they're going? It sounds more hassle, money and effort than it's worth).

I've been approached to be the advance, advance party so I can make sure that any Peruvian natives are aware that a great president from beyond the mountains is coming to grace them with his presence.

These Peruvians will have to ensure that El Presidente is made welcome and is afforded an even bigger welcome than the great Paddington Bear.

I just think Nikkkkkkkk is doing everything possible to buy friendship and admiration. Like the class dickhead who nobody likes having to splash out in order to be liked. I think it's quite sad , especially given the friends he's bought.

Surely just making a feck off great donation quietly is preferable to this shit? Anyone would think they were climbing Everest in flip flops ffs. Thousands do this every year, without needing a feckin advisor who's a former postman.

Nikkkkkkkkkk's paying for Mr Champagne Socialist to "advise" others how to walk through Peru, because he's climbed Kilimanjaro!

And apparently nikkkkkkkkkk isn't happy with people having a pop at him. Awwwww bless.

Stop feckin buying people's respect then! Webb doesn't have to have an all expenses paid trip to South America at all but it just makes you look even more like mother Teresa when it gets plastered on Pasoti how generous you are, yawn.

I'm not jealous at all either. I choose my friends on how they are not how much money they spend on me. Nikkkkkkkkkk owns a business I don't agree with, nor should Webb given his so-called socialist beliefs, yet he's happy to take the rich mans shilling when he fancies a holiday.

I'm not sure which one I dislike the most. Webb with his bullshit socialist ideals that go out of the window when there's rewards on offer. Who's taken part in multi accounts with the rest of the scumbags and lied and blamed others when confronted, or nikkkkkkkkkk who bankrolls it all, grinning like a shark at the adulation he gets from the simpletons and the scumbags who carry out all the crap online.

You only need look at who praises Nikkkkkkkk to high heaven, Newells, Webb, Postey, Wozzer, Jameson, Hooper and Ponty.

feck me if they're your character witnesses Nikkkkkkkk you're in need of bribing some decent people too.

The FES/FIL Shit Former Mayflower Stand? Yup sponsor that heap of crap for a £million or so and your legacy will be complete.

That's part of the £1-2 million Brent keeps talking about, Nikkkkkkkk sponsoring the mini-stand, because the other commercial aspects won't pay for the inevitable graffiti to be cleaned up from it.

Nikkkkkkkk's upset that people are giving him stick! Stop feckin reading ATD then you knob. Everyone here sees through you and your cronies so what do you expect? Unconditional cock-sucking love like Newell gives you? Have a feckin word with yourself man.

So now Nool is the spokesperson for Nickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk !!
Well Nickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk if your reading this, then my stance has not changed one little bit, i despise the advertising around the stadium and i do not agree with PAFC being associated with money lenders, nor your entourage who hang out the back of your behind.
If you want to invest do it properly and fund a decent stand that can take PAFC to the next step, not stupid murals, free Aviva buses and trips to Killimanjaro.
