The Green Taverners are holding their first beer festival

A BEER festival will bring 22 of the West Country’s top ales and ciders to Plymouth.

The Green Taverners, the fundraising wing of Plymouth Argyle, are holding the festival on Friday, from 6pm to midnight.

The event includes live music from The Black Diamonds and The Sensational Barnet Brothers, plus the Taverners Radio Roadshow.

The beer festival will be held at The Green Taverners Suite at Home Park.

There is something strangely attractive about a beer festival.

'The fund raising wing' ?

Do they 'give' raised funds to the club's owners or loan it to them ?

If they combined with the trust and raised funds to eventually buy the club, would they be welcome at HP ?

Are there any accounts for the GTs?

It does seem to be a never-ending charity with no facts or figures (or at least very difficult to find).

Eventual owners?
