Highwayman...I thought and still do that TCM was very funny and very clever too.Funny thing is I have met him and we shared many a glass or two.Dunno if it was him on here or someone else.Good fun and who knows he may re appear.

Jock....I'd have trouble picking him out in an ID parade......I was just reading the post on PASOTI where he said to some guy that you can stick your life on it or something like that.When someone says something with that sort of conviction.then you feel its going to happen,which is on what I based my comment.No insider knowledge.

Off the top of me head I can't think of another little club which has rebuilt an entire ground on the same site so comparisons are pretty much moot, probably because nobody else has been lucky enough to be gifted as much as you lot, I suppose Peterborough is the closest and they will have a markedly reduced capacity when the terrace at one end is converted this summer, but they of course have never had a bigger cap all seater. It seems your uniqueness knows no bounds, fortunately nothing about it is to be envied by any but the smallest of fry.

Now be sensible, do you really think that a ground with a cap near 18k, including a sexy new money spinning stand, is something to e sniffed at by a club without a pot to pith in ? Most clubs in your position, ie. Pith poor and going nowhere would finish up like Oldham where they knocked down the old stand and simply can't afford to replace it at all. You were right and you were hounded off and banned has been your cry ever since I first came onto this site. You aren't alone in that either with other posters crying the same. Do you keep files on people incidentally? Somebody needs a bit of a boot and you come up with a post from a year or so ago. You did the same with me by going into another website to tell everyone how many posts I had made there and what my points tally was etc. That's a bit creepy really and slightly resembles stalking.

What my original post was doing is pointing out that hardly anyone has a clue which set of figures is right or wrong. All people are doing is using the ones that best suit their own idea and it is not based on anything they actually know. GOB then tells me he has a clue. Clearly he has no experties in the building business at all because when asked what clue he has he decides he doesn't have to answer. Seems ok when questioning me but not prepared to answer any himself. I've admitted right from the start I don't know the answers and know nothing about pricing up a seat in a stand. Sorry to keep pointing it out but an internet fact isn't a real one neccessarily. There must be loads of facts people can quote to put the boot into Brent without making any up. Just because I don't take everything at face value in the opposition corner does not make me a Brent lover or anything close.

This leads me on to the anti gang thing. Everytime somebody says something that isn't the flavour of ATD they get invited to post on pasoti. I've been accused of being somebody from the other side a couple of times and today it was ZYPH. Paranoid or what. This site reminds people at least once a day that anyone is free, within the bounds of the rules, to give any opinion they want to. Diversity isn't just a dance troup it is quite healthy on a discussion forum or at least it should be. It seems not however. If you don't sing the right song then you get invited to leave even if it is voluntarily. Not by all but certainly by some. If not that then there is a bit of a gang mentality which jumps in one after the other which is just another way of trying to shut somebody up. The alternative is to come up with some name for them, I won't list them because Tring has copy write on most. The sad part is that a lot of people on here don't seem to recognise the similarities to what they rant about elsewhere.

So to sum up for me at least. I have never been a member on pasoti. I have never met Newell, Webb or Brent in any capacity even by accident. I am not a Brent lover albeit I am not a hater particularly either. I don't think everything Brent does or says is wonderful but I also accept that some things are not necessarily bad. I wish the new Stand was to be bigger and better and the content more for the benefit of the club. I do not just blindly accept internet facts as facts just to suit an argument. I take each thing as it happens as a seperate item except where they might overlap onto another issue and influence it. If you are still awake I thank you for reading this post.
