I've found the inverted comma on the new phone. Peggy, I don't know how to get the back off this phone to take the battery out Smile Meanwhile, it has been sunny here but raining at home and I saw an aeroplane.

Excellent.

I see that if you're in the know and a cool Argyle fan that Pickle is Branston Very Happy

Meanwhile in other sandwich related mundanity I made myself a roast pork and sundried tomato sandwich earlier and tried to carve Kaz's homemade bread into something that resembled slices of bread, but ended up looking like my profile. Very thin with a big bulge in the middle (fat stomach not a huge cock)

thats a preserve, not a pickle. blatant mis-selling. Laughing

I was the electrician, I wanted to be the red Indian but I couldn't find a chieftains head dress in the shed, only a hard hat.

Swifts, martins & swallows in the last few days .... but not many.

On the subject of birds .... the peregrine is still being seen sometimes around the viaduct.

OOH! Nearly forgot!

You know when you tell a child not to put something sharp (a knife, say, or scissors) in their mouth, and they say 'Why?' and you say 'You'll cut your tongue'? Well, yesterday I proved it. I was licking the foil lid off of a pot of yogurt and I cut my tongue on it.

It even bled.

Your Peregrine is probably a one or two year old trying to settle on a territory.

Meanwhile the pair down at Cann quarry I have seen two youngsters today

A big pot of Onken fat free vanilla. Got it up the Coop, on offer for a pound. The five year old loves it because it tastes like custard.

I doubt it's still on offer now, mind.

I wonder who, and more intriguingly how did they, find out that yoghurt is a cure for thrush scratch

My lord, you know that unsightly fungus I had emanating from my foof, well it's gone now. I accidently sat down on a pot of Muller Fruit Corner whilst praying and the stinging ceased verily.

Burn the witch!

I think it's to do with culture, innit.

More to the point, how many people died drinking the sap of various cacti before the people in a small Mexican village discovered how to make Tequila? And who had the idea of roasting those berries, grinding them up and pouring hot water on them to make coffee? Eh?

These and other similar questions did my head in during a visit to Kew Gardens a few years ago.

More to the point - who actually decided that they would make coffee from partly digested beans taken from animal droppings? What else did they try before they came up with this idea?
