Jordan Copp tweeted Hearing interesting news about a new keeper at #pafc for next season! Then tweeted Can't say at the minute, but if true you'll find out soon!

Seems more than likely considering his previous coaching role with JS at Chesterfield.

and he served as a backup keeper at oldham and chesterfield whilst at chesterfield and oldham so it would be a good odds on bet it will be him.

Crossley .... nah! Too old. If he ever dons the jersey for us it would only be in a dire situation.

if he came it would be for backup only as he would be coaching mainly. Certainly wouldn't be here for the number one jersey but we shall see who it is.

Anyone but Mccormick please.

We've got one of the best keepers in the league in Jake Cole anyway.

We also released Chenoweth and Sheridan doesn't rate Gilmartin. I remember we played Martin Hodge in goal for a bit when he was about 60, one of those was the 7-0 at Brentford though.

On facebook there's a rumour that Copp was tweeting about McCormick returning.

He's out of contract now at Oxford.

He and Copp are probably friendly from McCormick's truro days.

I've also heard it's McCormick but for me it would be better if it wasn't. Would there be a backlash from some who would boycott? As said previously it isn't worth the risk or hassle.

Given the lack of booing when he played for Oxford recently, I don't think most people would genuinely have a moral obligation.

I wouldn't.

It would be a shrewd signing by Sheridan if we were to pick him up on a free transfer.
