PostSubject: Re: Nothing to celebrate- Time for a spring clean    Nothing to celebrate- Time for a spring clean - Page 3 EmptyMon Apr 29, 2013 7:58 am

On the football league show, Warnock remarked that it is difficult to attract players to the south west and how vital it was for the area that Argyle and Torquay had stayed up.
He also said [and he should know] that, 'Plymouth is a big club , with an even bigger catchment area'. If Sheridan leaves and IF Brent will give him a competitive budget, I reckon Warnock could be persuaded to build something down here, as the last 'Hurrah !' of his career.
Maybe, he could work with Sheridan ?

That would really be a statement of intent from Home Park.................... can't see it happening though.

Ok, ok then, so long as you think it's alright.

Fooking wankers run on to pitches, idiots who simply can't control their infantile urges for the general good, pitch invasions reduce the amount of time the players will stay out there celebrating with all the fans as well as being a potential flashpoint for trouble, the fecking lot of them should be banned, wankers every one.

Interesting fact, the mighty Green Army took less fans to Rochdale for the most important game in their history, in spite of them Swilly Boys getting free travel, than tiny little Exeter City took to Sheffield for the Rotherham game, sleeping giant my arse.

Pitch invading wankers and a tiny turn out for a mahoosive game, what an embarrassment.

Yeah but you fucktards only went in the hope of seeing your idols the chuckle brothers. To me, to you.

Tis if you dislike us down here so much why don;t you find a nice little village that needs an idiot and ignore us "wankers"

All this moaning about the health and safety aspect of pitch invasions and potential flashpoints for trouble is all the guff and wank that has caused the footy to become a sanitised all seating affair devoid of any atmosphere. If you don't like to see or hear young people enjoying themselves go to the Grandstand and sit down, allowing the fans that want to let go and have a laugh to do so.
As for nothing to celebrate? Am I the only one that has travelled hundreds of miles to a grim northern shithole and given it large singing in the rain after being beaten one nil in a crap game, but WTF it's a night out and a laugh?
The celebrations on Saturday were an outpouring of relief, also if the youngsters on the pitch were not celebrating on Saturday, what have they had that they could genuinely celebrate in the last five years? They are young, let them let off steam.

Don't worry Tisd, If Shezza signs up normal service will be resumed in a couple of years and we'll be playing in a higher league than your lot again [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Imagine blowing a chance at the playoffs in one of the shittest leagues ever seen (so shit we even stayed up) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Stuff of dreams for you boys, survival in a league where your biggest rivals nearly sneaked a play off place with the worst team they have had in a decade.

We certainly have serious problems going forward, feck all cash, more leeches in suits drawing a wage than you could shake a stick at, Cureton likely to be moving on with no sign of anyone coming through who might be half as good, a manger with absolutely no clue how to put together a team that would scrap for the shirt, a rack of ageing donkeys with just a couple of nuggets who are not on contract.

You are spot on in that if you are not waving us good bye this time next year you will have proven to be the worst team in the history of PAFC by a mile, actually that may well be drivel, you could easily be waving as you survive by a point again, maybe even as much as two, whikle we sail slowly back into the Conference.

I have no confidence in Tw@sdale putting together a decent team, the Board generating the necessary funding to help him or do something about the state of poor ol' Sid, or the Trust leadership, using the term leadership is its loosest possible context, stepping up and doing feck all about either.

You mob of mixed neanderthals and geriatrics suffering away down the road has been the only thing that has kept me going for what seems like an age now, fortunatley I am a big rugby fan and the prospect of securing another season in the Champions League by beating Gloucester is more than enough to dull the pain of another washout football season watching Cheesy's Chokers.

I do have a little chuckle when Tis attempts to put any argument together, based on 'support'. Laughing

He'd love us to actually have a genuine 'feck' to give about Exeter City.

But we don't.

He's right though, middle class folk do seem to prefer the old rugger to footy whereas us, the great unwashed knuckle dragging, awful working class prefer to stand at the terraces braying and baring our teeth at the opposition fans. The rugger fans are in fact so much more sophisticated than us they don't even have an away end, and in fact are often seen applauding a good passage of play by the opposition.

Eughhh.....

A nice thought Mappers but I'm afraid a previous regime of suitage forked that one up by selling an option to a building company for next to no money, fortunately ECC stepped in and CPed the ground after the suitage had spunked the cash, now as long as we can find the rent we got a ground to play on, admittedly it could do with a wash and brush up, but it's home.

Oh purleaze Czarky, you know full well we are all you've got, you live for the day you can put your spandex undewear back on and prance up and down Union St telling anyone who will listen that you are back above the City.

Tis's erudition makes XIsle's waffle seem Pork-like by comparison. Different gravey.
