"frdnzy" ? That Polish ? I have to say I am tending toward Damon on this one, what exactly is so strange about flying ? Personally I would rather walk than go on a coach and flying can't be more expensive than driving if you have the misfortune to drive a juicy motor, you seen the price of petrol ? Is there a suggestion that the flight will be a freebe ? Or will it be a Flybe ? |

You mean it's not sponsored by FES/FIL?
Is it a standard scheduled flight then Damon? If it is, Webby needs to adjust his rhetoric.
The way Webby was going on about it he made it sound like FES/FIL whateverthefeckhe'scalled were paying for it. |

Surprised there's not a dedicated Pasoti thread on it, or is it SUPERFANS REAL mates only? |

| I am sounding really defensive here but they are just mates who are going to an important game together and have bought plane tickets and hired a coach at the other end to do it. FFS there are bigger battles to fight in this war. |

| I have just spoken to Mark from GT's and he has confirmed that the flight to Manchester is the normal FlyBe flight that goes from Exeter to Manchester every day of the week, on this occasion some fans have got together and bulk booked spaces on the flights, this is not a private closed group is just friends who wanted to travel by plane. Anyone can do this as the flights are available through the FlyBe website, as per any normal flight. I think what Chris was trying to say was that there were people flying to the Rochdale game, this is not sponsored in any way by FES, FIL or any other organisation, each person is paying their own costs. I hope this helps?

| there is nowt wrong with flying to games lads i dont understand why this has sparked this reaction? '
The most important thing is as many fans go to Rochdale and cheer the players on because they are going to need all the support they can get. |

Damon, you're correct - you are getting a little defensive. I'm not sure why this has hit a nerve, it's just a mild piss take. Anyway, any of our favourites flying?? |

| I've no idea - only know some of the GTs and corporates that are flying. Think I got defensive when I saw mention of the buckets. But no sweat. |

| Will they be selling the GT raffle tickets on the plane?
The Green Taverners raffle tickets will once again circulate each coach in order to raise more funds |

The GTs are selling Raffle tickets to pay for the Youth Team to go to Ireland to play in the Milk Cup. Personally I think the Club should pay for that but they aren't so the GTs are raising funds for the youngsters. If supporters have free travel and decide to buy a few raffle tickets as a thank you what is so wrong? |

There's stuff worth moaning about and there's stuff not, this is most definitely the latter. I'm delighted that our young lads are getting this experience- albeit the club ideally should be funding it yeah. |

| Is Manchester that difficult that it would be made easier by flight? I always see it as a pretty easy destination, espesh when you factor in travel to/from Exeter, to/from Rochdale, waiting times for flights etc? Or is that just cos I'm travelling from near the Saaf East? |

Driving time to Manchester is around 4 hrs with a clear run. So by the time you get to Exeter, wait for your flight, fly, and get out, there'd be a similar journey time I reckon, unless there were flight delays. |
