That's hardly a ringing endorsement of the Akkeron model. Still less does it explain WHY the pasoti glitterati have stood so strongly behind Akkeron. It amounts to "I dunno why, I just do. I like James - I don't like the WG." Such calm, reasoned erudition!

I wouldn't say he wasn't a fan but he has sold out for a seat in the Directors Box and a Xmas card from James Brent, the family photo one not the Akkeron standard one that everyone gets.
When trying to explain why he wants the Akkeron plans he says that he doesn't want Cottage Field built on because he loves Central Park, store that one away for future use guys
yet a few posts later he's saying that he's not happy with the proposed access road in Brent's plans
Doesn't that mean that he doesn't like the proposed development?
He's caught like a rabbit in the headlights, Postey is too, because they have no real reason to support the shit Akkeron plans other than blind loyalty to Brent and a hatred of big bad Andy Symons, who is apparently scheming to take over the planet.
Postey is looking more and more like a petulant toddler with his e-mail to the Herald, I don't want Andy Symons playing, I want to choose my own team of my fwends, otherwise I'm going to stamp my feet and throw a tantrum.
Neither of them can come up with a decent argument and so they have to attack anyone they can to justify the negativity towards the Trust and the Working Group who's plans give Argyle a chance of becoming self-sufficient in future, unlike Brent's plans which will consign us to years and years in League 2 at best.
The whole redevelopment has shown what James Brent is really like and his main henchmen are now possibly regretting jumping into bed with him on the first date, after looking into his eyes
There is no way out for them now though. If Webb, Newell and Postey all declared tomorrow that they have been hoodwinked by Brent, the man who has Argyle's best interests at heart and not property
they have burned so many bridges I can't see how they could now turn back.
Postey with his sly, underhand and cowardly attacks under the safety of a pseudonym, even the e-mail to the Herald was not meant to be published, could not ever be taken seriously again or have any kind of position on Pasoti or Vital for that matter because he would have no allies to back him up.
Webb obviously isn't fit to be President and should be embarrassed to even hold the title. He has lied and deceived the fans he is supposed to represent. He lied about Greenman and blamed a young fan who worked for the club knowing that I could've gone to Plymouth and went mental at an 18 yr old for threatening me and my family. His blind faith towards Brent saw him get Peggy removed from the matchday programme, purely because he's a publicity whore who came up with the whole Forza Verde Ultras shit and didn't like it being criticised.
He's been involved in lots of the shenanigans online along with his Argyle loving mate Newell, and probably regrets it now but nothing can change the fact that he lied about his involvement in Deepthroat, Windsor Boy and almost certainly Greenman. All of them were accounts that Newell and Postey had prior knowledge in their setting up and covering up, but Deepthroat was probably the worst from Webb's point of view because he was attacking Trust board members just months after being the Trust leader himself. The attacks on the Trust definitely harmed the AFT and the fallout is still being felt.
There is still a feeling of many fans being wary of supporting the Trust because they see and hear about all the shit that has gone on, when in truth there was no wrong-doing or scheming that prompted the attacks, incidentally before Andy Symons was on the AFT board. And now the story these pricks are sticking to is that Andy Symons was the trouble-maker all along
It makes no sense when Andy was nothing to do with the board back then, but it's a good excuse to trot that line out and hope nobody can do the math and realise it's more of their bullshit.
Webb was heralded as a hero when Brent swept into town, the reluctant bidder who just wanted to ensure Argyle's future, along with Newell they loved the attention and revelled in the "saviours of the club" tag they were being given. Now is a totally different story. The "grand" stand and the units it contains are going to be the lifeblood of the club for years to come and even those units have been lied about. There was never any intention of them being for the benefit of the club, they are going to benefit James Brent's pension fund and that's it.
It's going to be a long summer for the 3 amigos because if the plans Akkeron have submitted come to fruition there will be one almighty backlash and seeing as Webb, Newell and Postey like to be seen as Brent's mouthpieces, they are the ones who will bear the brunt of the fans anger.
Then there will be Sheridan leaving. I am pretty confident that this will be announced next week and even though we will stay up by the skin of our teeth, this will be a huge blow to fans who have had the most horrendous 5 or 6 years of any club I can think of. Whoever gets the job after Sheridan will be a cheapo option again and someone who won't kick up much fuss about having no money to build a decent squad with.
Newell is a bumbling prick who regards himself as a bit of a gangster, funny really when he was blubbing to the mods here when he had fecked me over and was then afraid of the big bad gangster taxi firm owner he had outed and called a cnut
Yet I have it on very good authority that the Newell family are a figure of ridicule to a lot of people at the club. A family of Hyacinth Bucket's dressed up for a fancy occasion acting like royalty

Newell does latch onto important people though. Stapleton was his hero until he was toppled and Newell conveniently brushed his admiration and support for Stapleton under the carpet. It would've worked too except Tring will never forget it and every time fatty reads this site he's given a gentle reminder
Now Nikkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk thinks the sun shines out of Newell's ass basically because he's prepared to be Nikkkkkkkkkkkk's little gopher. Nikkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk is everything that Newell yearns to be, same with Brent. The only problem there is that Newell will never be on those people's level and once they have fecked off into the sunset Newell will be a little chubby lost boy who has only one way to go and that is back towards the "commoners" he trampled all over. The people he attacked who were once his friends and who he ridiculed and abused because he thought he was going places.
I don't know anyone from Pasoti yet when Newell and I spoke on the telephone he reeled off story after story about people he treats as his mates when it suits him. Stories about scroungers who would beg for free tickets to games etc. one minute and the next be driving a brand new car around yet still wouldn't put their hand in their pocket. I don't know these people from Adam but he was falling over himself to tell me these little snippets of info as though I was his friend. He slated Lee Jameson, along with Webb, when I saw them at Tiverton. Both of them were saying how Jameson was like a little cissy squealing when the going got tough and he's had a few too many, which according to them was far too regularly, and yet Jameson jumps whenever they click their fingers.
Jameson even told me on the phone that they both bullied him onto doing things for them and if he complained they said he was like a little girl. Now I can't say for certain what these things they wanted him to do were but it doesn't take a genius to work out what Jameson was involved in and who it was pulling his strings.
Now Newell has total control over Pasoti and has installed Postey as his sweeper up in chief. Doing the dirty work that Newell and Webb don't want to be seen taking part in, the things Jameson squealed like a little girl about being told to do.
Pasoti has been ridiculed for such a long time now but whenever I look it seems like there is much more opposition to the superfans than ever before. Apart from X-Isle and one or two others nobody backs the Akkeron plans because they can see how they will hamstring the club for years. Fucktards like Hooper who aspire to sit at the same table as the big boys are obviously quick to show their support despite being so-called fans of Argyle, but they're such insignificant little insects who are merely wanting a piece of the action. They will be dropped like a hot potato when push comes to shove, but the big three will use them whenever possible to back up their arguments.
Pasoti won't change declared Newell when he fecked up and had to admit to being the owner a while ago, yet the site manager posts a load of shit about the Trust and the HHP plans in the Herald irrespective of the fact that 90% of the site he runs disagree with him. Pasoti is now so far up Brent's ass they can see his quivering lip from the inside!

Chris Webb would turn up at the opening of an envelope if he thought the Herald would be there to take his photo. He represents a tiny percentage of Argyle fans yet treats them like idiots when pressed. Don't go on the pitch if you want a new striker? feck off Webb you don't represent me or anyone I know. He's the biggest turncoat ever for standing arm in arm with Brent while the club he purports to love is raped. A feckin Socialist who smiles like a simpleton while redundancies are announced or refuses to denounce plans that mean Argyle is the poor relation to an ice-rink and hotel, because it wouldn't please his ex-banker Tory boss! I hope he's better at his day job is all I can say because if he represents the club then he's either doing it ridiculously badly on purpose or he is just a feckin tool.
Argyle will survive tomorrow, I've no doubt about that, but what does next season hold? Fans have been incredibly patient and still turn up in droves whether Nikkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk pays their bus fare or not, but I can't see anything like the same numbers turning up next season once it's obvious that it's going to be another year of struggle while the reluctant bidder sits counting his coins overlooking Brent Park.
If Sheridan announces next week he's off, which I fully expect him to and so does in the know Ponty, I will be intrigued to see how the grinning monkey Webb goes about trying to push season ticket sales with promises of more Rhys Griffifth's and Jamie Lowry's?
I've had a couple of telephone conversations with Webb, along with text messages and meeting him face to face in Tiverton and I can honestly say that he would lie about anything to defend himself or his mates, including possibly endangering a young lad who works for Argyle. He's desperate to get noticed and his photo in the newspaper as Mr Argyle and yet since he's returned from Africa he been very low-key because all these people who know him want to know why he's backing plans that are definitely not in the clubs best interests. It's all very well offering to bet people that Argyle will stay up and having a big party when they do but Argyle and Argyle fans deserve much, much more than just surviving in Division 4 by the skin of our teeth.
2 years ago a certain Chris Webb would've been shouting at the top of his voice about how these plans are not worth sticking fish and chips in and yet fast forward to today and the wanker is over the moon with how things are at Argyle?
What's changed since then Greenman/Windsor Boy/Deepthroat? You have Webb. You've changed and sold Argyle down the river.
