| Just another indication of how difficult life is going to be for the foreseeable future.
Incidentally Barclays paid millions in bonuses today to the wankers who have caused all the problems.
You couldn't make it up! |

| Here endeth the party political broadcast on behalf of the anyone but Tory party. What control do the Government have over a private business giving bonuses to it's employees. It's immoral that these Banks do it but hardly the Government's fault. It would be the same whoever were the Government.
It's pretty much the same every Budget day irrespective of who holds the keys to the vaults. Give a bit, take a bit more and normally the poorer people who pay. By poorer I mean the not wealthy so that includes the middle people who have some wealth but not loads. The Chancellor commends his Budget to the masses and the opposition damns it to hell and back as being rubbish.
Irrespective of the politics involved it was ever thus that the masses pay for the mistakes of others and we, along with most of the rest of the World's population are now paying for it big time and will pay for a good few years yet. I almost can't be arsed to listen to Budgets anymore because there are enough repeats on the box already.

Cos like Labour had not been in Office for the 13 years that led up to and immediately followed the crash. I hate the two faced, chinless, public school Tory wankers as much as anybody but this mob probably have less choice in their course of action since the IMF bailed out Labour in the 70s. The entire UK economy is predicated upon a successful and expanding financial services sector, neither these money grubbing politicians nor their inane economic advisors can encompass any change to that. When Brown and Darling should have said feck the banks and let them go down like good capitalists they bottled it, that was the one chance to make things righteous, now we have to sit back while the incumbents carry on digging an ever deeper hole, Tory, Labour, Lib Dem or whatever you want to call them, it don't matter none, they all crawled out from under the same rock. |

| the debt needs to be addressed of course and sacrifices must be made by ALL not just some and benefits for others.
I agree they are all as bad as each other Labour caused the debt in the first place and still (to my knowledge) havent given any decent policies on how they would decrease the debt without having to impact on services and peoples back pockets.
