When he was threatening me with legal and police action because this site had evidence he was using the Greenman account he swore blind he had never used a multi account. Lucky it never came to court then huh Chris? Would you have lied on oath as well?

Are we honestly supposed to believe that Mr Webb wasn't aware of the accusations made on here and pasoti against him? I gave up believing in the tooth fairy and father christmas many years ago.

Quite amazing, so much time to concoct the defense and get the story straight and yet he seems to be quite happy to justify behaviour that is patently "unpresidential". If the man had any kind of conscience he would appreciate that his position is untenable and resign from the position he has brought disrepute to and return to being an ordinary fan (like Newell) and do as he pleases. Like all of us he could then be criticised for his views and actions but they would have no official link to the club.

If it's all so terrible I would have thought he would have been quite happy to be out of it all.

Seems like the consensus from the responses on Pasoti is that it's OK to lie. Hooper would obviously draw the conclusion that it brings the club into disrepute and await his missive to James Brent forthwith.

Amazing how Webb was all over the internet when the 'greatest janner' vote was being debated amidst his exposure as a multi-accounting liar - something he apparently couldn't find the time to respond to then.

What was that then? Webb making threats of a gang with baseball bats coming for me? Webb posting as Deepthroat and Windsor Boy? Webb lying about his involvement in making threats to me and blaming an 18yr old club employee instead? Webb getting Peggy turfed off of the club programme? Private investigators snooping around fellow Argyle fans and his friends Jameson and Hooper being behind it?

The only surprise for me so far is that Nool hasn't congratulated him on being a sly little cnut, oh and nor has Wozzer, who he was acting like a cnut in support of.

How decent people can sit next to these wankers at games or on coaches is beyond me. How some people can sit and smile while these cnuts who have anonymously attacked them approach them and start chatting at fanfests is admirable. I know a young club employee who would be quite within his rights to accidently on purpose spill Webb's coke all over his Fila tracksuit on a matchday, and an ex-trust board member who would be forgiven for tipping over a table at the fanfest that Newell, Webb, Wozzer, Jameson, PL2 Faced and their buddies were sat at.

Maybe that's what is needed to lance this boil. Someone to give these tossers a slap in front of their friends. Or strangle them eh Webby? Decent people like John Petrie and John Lloyd who have been unfortunate enough to find themselves targeted by these cretins, and I include you in that mob as well Jones because you're just as big a coward as your mates.

Cerbs problem is that he doesn't fit on either side of the fence, it must be confusing and frustrating for someone that "doesn't want to get involved".

I dont want to join in any personal abuse, but I do beleive he should step down from his role as club president. You cant do what he has done and destabalise the fans trust from cowardly online attacks and stay in your role at the club. Its ridiculous.

Is Webb still a member of the AFT and if so, shouldn't he be kicked out?

For me, there's not much of a fence - I post on both forums (unless I'm suspended). This us vs them scenario isn't my cup of cocoa. I'll agree with them and with 'us' and I'm not factional when I post. I try not to be and I do have the odd spat with 'them' as Ian Newell does need to be called out when he starts his 'just a fan' rubbish - I probably shouldn't bite as it gives oxygen to him. I will also oppose the extreme opinions on here too from certain posters who jump on the bandwagon. Angry, Punchdrunk and in a different way, Tring and Rickler often go far, far too far.

This isn't about forums though as such - not for me. I wouldn't slate someone online just because someone else didn't like them. I've spoken as I've found with regard to Chris Webb so the 'told you so' posts mean little to me. He's gone down in my estimation as plenty of posters have been called out for being trouble makers when they've just told the truth.

In my view, that's wrong. Chris Webb has allowed that, indirectly,to happen.
