| Through to the final,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,this is why its worth staying in cup competitions and not get knocked out in the first round every time. If we stay up I DEMAND an improvement in our performance in cup competitions next season. Our record in cup competitions STINKS |

| Brilliant achievement by Bradford City, congratulations to them. There were a lot of very arrogant Villa fans on one of the football shows the other day talking about a walkover in the second leg, even after the stuffing they got at Valley Parade and their recent terrible results in the premier league,so that's pissed on their chips.Good.Relegation bound IMHO. |

| Magnificent achievement for any 4th tier outfit. I was unconvinced about their cut price season ticketing of the last few years, it didn't seem to help their performance, but now they have every chance to kick on next season and all those retained fans will serve them well in the future. |

| If Chelsea get through, which of course we hope they do not, but if they do then there's a pretty good chance the 'fud are already into the draw for the UEFA Cup.
Well we beat them quite comfortably up at their gaff, played them off the park no less. |

| The thing is we aren't going to set the league alight, but a decent cup run, a lucky draw against one of the big boys and suddenly debts are shrinking and we are nearly a proper football club again. Just look at our dear neighbours up the road, they would almost definitely be BSP now if it weren't for the Man. Utd tie. |

| Bradford....cost £7.500 in transfer fees.
6 wins in the cup and.....walla......one million pound richer.
Manager Phil Parkinson must be worth his weight in gold ......his team is. |

| Just a pity Argyle are hell bent on getting knocked out of cup competitions, it would be interesting to see clubs records in cup competitions, if we could see i reckon argyles would be the worst of them all |

| Really pleased for Bradford. I made the trip earlier in the season when we got beat 1-0 and stayed in the town overnight. Visited a few hostelries pre and post match and met some lovely people. Chuffed to bits for them.
I'm always frustrated when people say we should play our fringe players in cups. Makes me mad I say. As others have commented one lucky draw and you can make alot of money. With the Janner public as they are even a home league cup draw against a reserve Arsenal squad would guarantee a full house as well as the resultant TV money.
When you're as shite as we are any excuse to cheer the fan base up should be grabbed with both hands. |

| Mind you this year under Fletcher we really were worse than a non league side, shows how lucky we were to stay up! Talented individual my arse. |

| A 'real big' club, now on hard times, getting a deserved day out at Wembley, well done Bradford City. I'm sure this will result in the injection of cash needed to buy your way out of League 2 next season, that's where my monies going in July Bradford City will also be a Championship club within 4 years too |

Good to see you boys taking the opportunity to use the success of the only 'Big Club' in the 4th Division to have a pop, unfortunately you have missed the point as usual, you sure you two aren't related to the Pork ? In fact had we not drawn Manure we should possibly have reneged on our CVA which would simply have caused a second period of admin which in turn would have resulted in our creditors getting the same kind of return as yours did, to wit, sweet FA. The additional 10 point deduction would have had no effect on our status in the Conference so ceteris paribus we should most likely be where we are now. |

Was that ever said by Brent ? I'm fairly sure he said "exceptional individual", which like so much he has said is completely without context so means absolutely feck all. |

| I can't remember if Mr Brent said it, Mr Large, but Mr Jones certainly said it.

| Brentford drew 2-2 with Chelsea and Oldham beating Liverpool 3-1.
It can be done. Why on earth are Argyle so hooked on getting beaten in cup competitions? |

| This is a brilliant piece by a Bradford fan about their cup run. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] If you followed Argyle through our '84 cup run you'll understand how he feels. If you didn't then read it anyway because it is wonderful and if things like this can happen then there is still some hope for football. |
