Although if anything, it's a sad reflection on how low newells reputation has fallen, that threads like that, a) need starting and b) are left by the Mods on the main page. Lol

To be fair there are others (of a lesser profile) who have provided similar acts of generosity (I know of two). Whilst the OP is well intentioned, to centre this on Ian Newell will inevitably stir up certain factions.

What that thread demonstrates to me is that Ponty really is a thick tw@t

He's trying his best to drum up support for Newell after being pretty quiet for a long time, and now feels as though his lord and master has been wronged.

What the dopey git doesn't understand is that changing his signature every time he reads my posts, just proves my point that he is getting a bit obsessed with me and this site

I can only assume that Brent is concerned enough about the discontent that he's allowed Newll off his Internet leash. Desperate times require very desperate measures it seems.

Makes me piss the selective editing. According to PASOTI people cannot be discussed who have no right of reply. Also WTF has this to do with PAFC to be on the discussion page. How come every time IJN does something for charity people find out about it and feel the need to post nauseating messages of support and gratitude. All over Plymouth (and even beyond) there have been amazing examples of selfless giving and assisting the less fortunate, visiting the elderly and unwell in hospital and heir homes, inviting lonely neighbours to celebrate Christmas, helping with lifts when taxi fare are prohibitive etc etc. Can we just give one huge round of applause to IJN, and ask for the thread to be removed to Rumours where it belongs.

Something has happened very recently though on Pasoti. Ponty has come out of his shell in support of Newell, Postey always does anyway so that's nothing new, but it all just seems a little too contrived at the moment. Hopefully he's pissed off Brent with yet more of his usual online crap and is in desperate need of such upstanding people as Pasoti mods to uphold his reputation
