First Match for 6 years...........

............Yesterday was the first match for some time at Home Park.

Was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the Match. Very difficult conditions made for a good game.

Two things stood out. That Chadwick is marginally better than diabolical as a Striker but perhaps because I didn't have a preconceived idea I reckon he would do well in Midfield.

Secondly what a mess The Grandstand side of the Ground is when viewed from the Lyndhurst. It reminded me of real Northern Dumps of the late 70,s

Maybe Brent will come through with his redevelopment because the Ground looked awful from where I was viewing.....??

Only a Couple of thoughts.....

Pretty certain we will retain league status as well.

Welcome Baltimore. One would hope that with our competitive budget, relative attendance figures and huge squad, we'd do a little better than 'stay up'' in this dogshit league............... but that's probably just me manking again.

It was my third of the season. It was better than the first two, but I get the impression that we've only a decent team 'if things come off' but not a good team in general; we're quite unadaptable...Fore inst, our gangsta luvving mofo Cowan Hall was pretty shit really, but 'if things came off' what with his tricks and endeavour he would have been great. Purse is slow and immobile and fukkin stupid (you need worms if you're fishing not pork, but that's a nutha tale for an uvver day), but if the game suited him there is a decent chance he could have looked superb and dominant too. Young and Hourihane should in theory be good at keeping the ball on the deck and providing service, they seemed better technically than the Torquay lot...but they didn't do anything, ever.

So I don't really know.
