I love conspiracy theories & for me GOBs comment caused the penny to drop where im concerned.

I am convinced individuals have been rewarded with 'position' (said in grand roman style!) and i dont mean just fans.

If Peter Taylor has shown even a modicum of interest in a role at Argyle, why are we not flying him down immediately and moving heaven and earth to get him installed as manager or DOF?

What strikes you immediately when reading about his management career is his success in lower leagues. So impressive that he was poached from being a non league manager to the England U21 job.

An experienced ex footballer who even represented England 4 tines. Ok so he also played for Exeter a few tines but that can always be forgiven if he takes the job. If Fletcher doesn't want to work with him tough shit. Seriously there is no better qualified manager out there at the moment. Somebody please get on the phone before he's snapped up elsewhere.

What Brent is looking at is something on the cheap, of that I am convinced. I reckon Ward was not interested because it was not a proper job on offer, I mean what is being offered, a couple of days a week to mentor a young manager who is obviously not up to the job? Also the mentoring thing is a no win situation, Fletch guides us to mid table safety they could argue Fletch done good like errmm. Dof is then sent down the road in May.We go down and he was distracted by the dof. It's all a complete fudge up because Brent is still not able to admit he made a mistake by going with Fletch in the first place, time to grow a pair you muppet!

Very odd timing,the chairman said that they want someone with premier league experience-why appoint O'Driscoll as manager in the first place if that was so? Probably more to it than meets the eye,i seem to remember that Moncur was sacked by Argyle after a 4-0 win but he had been at loggerheads with the board for a while,wouldn't surprise me if that was the case with O'Driscoll.Can't see him coming back here TBH,we missed the boat when he was here before but i guess there would always have been a danger of him being poached anyway.

It's now over a month since the club started to look to fill this position and despite receiving dozens of top internationally recognised approaches there is still no appointment.
