All gone very quiet on that front, stated we would hear some news soon, would likely be in place for Saturdays match ?

That was before JW found out that the DOF job was minimum wage.

He arrived earlier today and has already shown an aggressive management style in his introduction to the Argyle office staff;

or he discovered that this appointment was yet again till the end of the season and continous whilst fletcher was employed.

I understand that he can't be announced yet due to contractual issues. Be patient, young man and all will be revealed.

Any more caustic comments like this and the twins will be in a huff again.

Indeed Punchy. This DOF thing is beginning to sound a bit too IMMINENT for my liking. The whole thing seems designed purely to take the sting out of the call for Fletcher's head, rather than actually getting rid of him in the REAL sense.

Yep the stench of deceit is emminating ever stronger from HP. Still the whole DOF spin kept the great unwashed happy for a while even though it would have been a complete fudge anyway if it had happened. Meanwhile the most useless and incompetent 'manager' in history continues unhindered to destroy PAFC.

McGhee sacked at Rovers.Ward very popular at Rovers from his previous time in charge,would seem an obvious candidate.Does this explain the delay?

It would further expose our club for what it is if Ward took the Rovers job.

I was assuming the Bristol connection of Sexstone and Ward was an off the peg up and running proven partnership.

I would've taken McGee too but not sure what went wrong at rovers? I tipped them to go up. After a poor start last season they went on a cracking run.

Must have financial problems I guess.

i think finances and the fact paul buckle pissed all the money away before he got there. the job didnt suit him

It's all too deja vu-ish is for my liking. Argyle should have kept JD on,but Fletcher was keen on trying his new learned skills by himself.

We have not improved one iota from last season tbh,well i don't think so anyway..

I hope Fletcher is removed at the end of this season and the DoF made the permanent gaffer.....Perhaps then we might see an improved Argyle.

OS reporting that our preferred candidate is now looking elsewhere & that the search will continue.
