Another re-organisation of Scottish Football Empty

There are to be three leagues now. The top one with 16 teams (play each other twice) the middle one with 10 teams (play each other 4 times) and the bottom one with 16 teams. They've also been given stupid names like the English leagues so the third tier will be called the 'First Division'! Finally there are assorted playoffs to decide relegation and promotion. Nothing like keeping it simple!

I wonder if this change will be a covert means of allowing Rangers to reappear in the top division! By which time they will want another reorganisation so Ranger and Celtic can play each other as many times a season as possible.

Count the teams, divide by 3, put that many in each division according to most recent league position, play everybody once home and away, 2 up, next 4 play-off, 3 down. Anything else is a con.
