| I have just had my account on pasoti re- activated. I e- mailed the mods and asked if they would unblock my account and they have. I have asked if I can copy and paste the e- mails from them really to show that they have given ground and for that I thank them. They do seem to be making an effort, I am happy to do the same. I will not be gagged or not have an opinion about all things Argyle and I think that this is now a much better site, however I am sick and tired of the bitching between the two sites and I would personally like to move on. We need a united fan base more than ever now, we may not all agree on all things but surely we can find more in common with other fans if we try? |

| Could I be made an ATD ambassador? I would be happy to carry any messages to the other side, I would obviously need one of those diplomatic bags that I could smuggle drugs and subversive written material across the border with, and a limo. Keeping it real, Iggy. |

| Uniting the fanbase is a relatively easy thing to do.
Remove Webb - Replace with a President of substance. The position of President has been significantly devalued.
Remove Newell from anywhere near the Directors Box.
Remove Fletcher and replace with a proven manager with a proven back room team.

Keeping it real, Iggy. My son is an Ambassador and is thinking of throwing it in all ready. |

Still doesn't explain why you weren't able to log in before, but that's an issue for you and the Pasoti mods. Oh and make sure you have your injections before setting off |

Keeping it real, Iggy. My son is an Ambassador and is thinking of throwing it in all ready. Well tell Rickler to stick with it. We all enjoy his updates. |

We need a united fan base more than ever now, we may not all agree on all things but surely we can find more in common with other fans if we try? Put in a good word for me Iggy. I think I was banned for 'upsetting other posters' with my predictions and branded a 'one trick pony'. I don't want to be welcomed back with any great pomp as a true visionary. I'm far too modest. Put in a good word for Freathy too. They must miss him. We both promise not to say, 'Told you so !' more than once a week. Love Ginger Pubes & Sad Act |

- Serious reply, Cerbs - I actually think the obsession with pasoti has lessened. In proportion, I actually think the references to Messrs Newell & Webb have diminished also. The latter has increased in recent days for obvious reasons and rightly so.
I agree with you that when ATD is able to get on with football matters it would be a good thing. I suspect though that the 'politics' of the club will always be a feature of such a site.
Strangely, 'your' site also fell foul of people who behaved 'politically' also. Indeed, the very establishment of such a site was a political step. Thank you for that. At least you understand what I meant.
My site was nothing more than a bit of fun. Shame so many on here missed the point. What I cannot get to grips with, and probably never will is why people take everything so personally. It spills over from discussion to nastiness very quickly. I'm not advocating that everyone is all best mates with each other, that will never happen. But why is everything posted taken so personally? Just because opinions differ.
Take Jock for example. I have met him a couple of times, a really fun bloke we got on well. Yet some of the vitriol aimed at me on here from him is unbelievable. Now please understand, I'm not complaining, just using it to illustrate my point. I'm a big boy (well, I'm grown up) enough to take a bit of crap from time to time, but not all of it is called for. Crikey, that's right up there with the best of 'em in the 'complete and utter bollocks' stakes!
I agree.
Cerbera has some gall showing back up on this site.
The guy is completely shameless. Surprised he isn't on an Exeter Chiefs website trying to get his name known there. Agree with Rickler, Cerbera is completely shameless |

| Maybe he could put a word in for me on Pasoti ? Denying people access to a forum because the unelected owners don't like the opinions of a poster, is what caused the trouble in the first place. All the unpleasantness could have been avoided had all opinions been welcomed.
ATD is open to all unless serious abuse occurs. Why isn't Pasoti ?

Oh and make sure you have your injections before setting off I can now log in because I have been unbanned, I think that this proves a certain mod or maybe two have left as it was personal arguments with one mod in particular that got me banned. We shall see how it goes, at the end of the day ATD and pasoti are just forums, when I asked the mods to reverse my ban I was expecting to be ignored, that didn't happen, things are changing over there, we shall see if it lasts but for now I am happy that they have allowed a mainly dissenting voice onto the forum. I am planning a big Cerbs style flounce tomorrow so it won't last long! |

| Somebody (is Vic there?) copied and pasted one of my earlier posts over there. It's now gone again, because I've still got an account and could post for myself if I wanted to.
Best not repeat anything Brent's said, then - he's a member and he can say it for himself.
On the bright side, the post comparing me to Arthur Scargill is still there. That cheered me up no end. |
