Great win today.

Cole - 9 - so much better, made a couple decent saves and saved the penalty very well, caught a far amount also.
Berry - 9 - this lad gets better and better, he is a sublime right back and was solid again today.
Purse - 8 - much less of his usual hoofing, good performance
Blanchard - 5 - still going through a bit of a rut.
Griffiths - 9 - hate to say it, but he's better than ATD's Robbie, very good technical left back.
PCH - 8 - good performance until he went off, forced a couple good saves.
Hourihane - 8 - big improvement from him
Young - 6 - hmmmm, slightly better but I'll never be a fan.
Macca - 9 - really like this lad, strong performance especially in the first half.
Gurrieri - 9 - just keeps getting better, being played in the right place, the hole!
Madjo - 10 - please sign him!

Nelson - 5 - didn't see enough to judge, won a good defensive header.
Lennox - 9 - great little player, won us a pen as well with a neat dive cheers

Fireman not fit again I see. Cancel his contract and send him back to Trumpton! Waste of space!

Granted, he's not worth having! But on a fantastic day with a great result, is that all you can pick out?

Best performance from Hourihane I have seen. He was very good as were the whole team. I'd give all of them a solid 7.765 points each.

I certainly wouldn't mark Blanchard down - he and Purse were excellent as a unit. Neither would I mark Young down.

Watch Blanchards distribution compared to Darren's. Blanchard also appears to hold his own line, always playing people onside. Form is temporary, class is perm however!

Fantastic day? Great result?

Still the worst in the west, midtable in the bottom division, a Club whose most valuable asset is? What? I don 't know, does the club actually own anything anymore?

I used to get annoyed when we couldn't beat Norwich in the CCC

Everything is relative.

Relatively speaking, we are one of the best teams in the country.

I think Pitbull's ratings are a tad green tinted but this was a decent performance against a decent side in this league. This was not a team struggling and they had won their last 4 away I believe. I find it quite odd that somebody can state they have no interest then make a comment about them and on a thread about a game they presumably didn't see.

I would like to remind people about the thread discussing Argyle's upcoming fixtures and the number who could only see 2 points out of the then next 21. Guess what boys, they have 3 already so don't take up gambling whatever you do.

I'm not sure these comments are worthy of a response but here goes?

Cobi, is that a joke? He's not worth having? I hope it is, else you're more f*cking clueless than I actually thought, and that is saying something.

I heard it took a fair chunk of wages to bring him here. He is so injury prone its unreal, but I suppose he has been non league all his life and he is now 32. He has scored just 1 goal for us from open play and the other 2 were dodgy penalties. Apart from his 20 minute cameo against Northampton, I haven't seen much from him, and having a player of his proneness to injuries is worrying. Saying all that, I would like to be proved wrong, and he's still 10 times as good as CHADDERS FOR SALTASH

Incorrect about the wages.

He has just spent the last 10 years of his life training twice a week and being a fireman. Changing that routine to one where you train EVERY day will take some getting used to and the nature of his play means he will pick up knocks.

He is a good player and will serve us well. Judging him after 5 games is completely barbaric.

Clearly too old and unfit to be a professional footballer. I said the fireman would make Mpenza look like value for money. Looks like I as right. Get rid now.

Freathy, seeing as you are Mr Know It All and are worried that Griffiths will make Mpenza look like good value for money, how much is Rhys Griffiths on? It was well documented EM was on 10k a week.

You say CLEARLY too old and unfit to be a professional footballer, how many times have you seen him play to make that judgement?

All due respect Freathy I doubt if you have watched the guy at all this season, mate like you I really believe appointing Fletcher was a mistake and I don't trust Brent as far as I can throw him, but you are clutching at straws re the fireman being crap.

I'm sure the firman has the talent to be an average L2 striker. But he's not physically up to the demands of professional football - the training or the number of matches. At his age the transition from amatuer to pro is just too great. He should be sent back to wales.

Forming an opinion on a player isn't barbaric, you silly boy.

What Slobodan Milosevic got up to in the Balkans, was barbaric.

Avoiding my question Freathy?

How many times have you seen Rhys Griffiths play to make such a damning conclusion?

None as he's hardly played. That's my point. Fletcher should never have brought him in. Get rid now.

I guess so, yeah.

It'd be nice though, if Argyle could win a game without the spotty little oik and Greengenes fulfilling everyones prophecy by turning up here to bore us all.
