| Rene Gilmartin - 7 - Did what he had to do, two decent saves. Still prefer Cole Durrell Berry - 7 - good display, got forward plenty. Jamie Richards - 8 - very good today, a player I've always doubted but he was strong and capable tonight. Curtis Nelson - 7 - very solid, credit to him, good headers Scott Griffiths - 8 - very good display and good tackling, with williams out for a while (told by Chris Webb today) he will be a good addition. Joe Lennox - 10 - always believed in him, he proved why he deserves a place, skilful, fast and involved in everything. Luke Young - 6 - Better than he usually is, few dodgy moments. Connor Hourihane - 7 - A good performance today, solid in the middle. PCH - 8 - Shame he went off at half time, looked a real livewire and very pacey. Gurrieri - 8 - very good, fast and good touches. Chadwick - 2 - awful as expected, won nothing.
Sims - 7 - good from what I saw. Griffiths - 7 - won a fair few headers tonight
Lads did us proud today, especially the back 4 |

| Joe Lennox was superb.
The new loanee was also handy.
Gurrieri was good and very up for it throughout the match.
I'll go along with these marks though.
Rene Gilmartin - 7 Durrell Berry - 7 Jamie Richards - 8 Curtis Nelson - 7 Scott Griffiths - 8 Joe Lennox - 10 Luke Young - 6 Connor Hourihane - 7 PCH - 8 He had an excellent chance to score a good goal. Gurrieri - 8 Chadwick - 2
Sims - 7 Griffiths - 7
I enjoyed the game and Argyle played well in the first half and they were ok in the second half, although they were sloppy at times.
Two cracking goals by the way. |

| Were we good because we were good or because Aldershot were bad? |

On paper, Aldershot had the better squad having only made 3 changes. Aldershot didn't look 'bad' as such, just very lazy and had the 'we couldn't care less, lets lose on purpose' attitude which was a disgrace to their club and the loyal fans who made the trip. |

| Plymouth did what they had to do tonight. Big prize money if you go far in this cup. A win is a win and gets Plymouth into the next round. Well done fellas |

Following Saturday's dismal performance,Argyle probably had to up the anti last night. Like another said,Aldershot were not crap or bad,as they had their chances to win the game too.. Full credit to Argyle for making a game of it though. |

A bit of advice on online etiquette. We are Argyle, not Plymouth. Calling us Plymouth makes you sound like a troll who knows nothing about the club, or football in general. |

| It would at least give the impression that you had the vaguest idea about the football club that this website is dedicated to. The only people who refer to us as 'Plymouth' are the Soccer Saturday presenters and idiot trolls. Which category do you fit into? |

You might want to tell that to Paul Wotton. He always says 'Plymouth' and not 'Argyle'. But knowing you... You wouldn't have the balls. |

| The Dutch used certain guttural traps to 'out' german imposters in WW2. Surprisingly, the ever popular Steve Davey uses the Plymouth word on Radio Devon far too often... don't know where he gets that from... they don't come much more green than him.
My only recollection of my own use of the Plymouth word was under pressure at the mid-week away power cut afternoon League Cup game against Birmingham in the 70s ... anyone who attended that game will know what I mean. In my best Ozzy Osbourne drawl, I was a natural. |
