| Not much bird-life today - a load of jackdaws & buzzards. The sound of pheasant, a woodpecker and apparently a tawny owl calling at mid-day in the sun(!).
But the daffodils are out - as are the primroses, snowdrops, vinca, crocus, celandine. Plus a tiny peziza coccinea hiding in a bank. My nose told me the ransomes are about to come out - cue interesting recipes in the next few weeks.
A pint & a bowl of chips on the way home. What more do you want? (Other than a quick nap in a short while ....) |

It is still very early for butterflies must be very sheltered down there, was that by the river? |

There were also ladybirds & hover-flies. Aslan is on the move!!!! Having seen a peregrine about the viaduct the other day I was hoping it would stay but no siting since that once. |

| Had acupuncture earlier for the first time. Cannot reccommend it highly enough, really relaxing and took the pain away for several hours. Another good thing was the physio is a big rug muncher East German shot putter and I got to lie face down while she stuck the needles in |

| Went out for prato do dia yesterday, great scoff and saw a hobby, I got more excited than I do when I see golden eagles. Today I've been splitting wood and mending socks. Tomorrow I won't be mending socks. |
