Get a grip !!! In case you haven't noticed, we are in league 2 with a poor side, Burnley are 2 leagues above us with a good side. Did you fume out of your skin when Arsenal beat us? the league gap was even smaller then They are 18th in their league and played 10 reserves...so not that strong are they, we still lost because we can't score from open play. |

- Argyle ran a second choice (ten changes) average championship team close in front of a small home crowd 4,000 + thats it! Some praise is due on the night but lets move on. The reality is that Fletcher is desperately trying to offload and get in players before Friday - this is crap, evidence of how unprepared we were by August 18th. Keeping Feeney and Chadwick and buying unproven players at league level is now having it's effects. We looked complete and utter shite in pre season and it was obvious to me that any half decent attacking side in league 2 would tear us apart, just look at the results so far.
Look at the results so far! 2-0 defeat at home to Aldershot - piss poor result and performance 0-0 Away draw at Dagenham, ill take any draw away from home anytime. 2-1 defeat against early pacesetters when most on here pridicted a drubbing, when infact Argyle held thier own and matched Oxford all over the pitch, (check the stats) 1-1 draw away to Burnley - much improvement when again everyone was prdicting a drubbing. not great results no, but nowhere near the disaster everyone is making out. Slight improvment over the last couple of games, big test on Saturday against a strong Northampton side. I want better quality players and not keen on Fletcher as boss, but lets all grow up a little and not over dramatise things. I predicted a bottom 5 finish, and unless we improve the squad with a couple midfielders and strikers that can hit the net i wont be far off, but its way to early for all this crap again, give it 10 games and see where we are. |

| I can remember when
We beat Burnley in this competition
We were above Burnley in the League,
Burnley only survived in the Football League on the last day of the season,
And of course when they beat us in the play-off semi final.
So what's to celebrate about being two Leagues below them and out of a cup competition (again)?
PS lots of teams beat clubs in higher leagues last night-PAFC were not one of them.
PPS When we lose on Saturday, the excuse will be the exertions and travel of the midweek match.

- So I'm a moron, clueless and a goon now. Anything else you want to chuck in? Keep this up and you may eventually do well on here if they ever accept you given your past that is. Football might be simple but the solutions to Argyle's woes aren't are they. Brent won't pour anything into the club no matter how loud you shout and if you think it's that simple then get a rally going outside the ground on Saturday for a start. Just have to keep it up for a few matches and that's your problem solved. Like I said best of luck and I'll watch the improvement with gratitude.
I care GreenWhiteBlack but I wouldn't necessarily disagree on the Fletcher point though.
I'll be at my own game on Saturday thanks. Mind you Dane with things how they are you might have Saturday's free in the not too distant future...?
I thank you for thinking about poor little old Plymouth but don't you have a relegation battle of your own to consider? Is that 4 games you've lost in a row? Even Fletcher has picked up 2 draws in that time.
Why isn't the Chairman putting some money into the first team Dane? Any new signings on the horizon? Why not? It's precisely that attitude that means that Cullompton will always be smaller than Bodmin. Why don't you ask your fans to boycott the next game?
I don't mind reading some of the more extreme views on here from some. If I did what would be the point logging on but at least they're consistent. From what I've seen over time you have a reputation for stoking a reaction on websites and keeping some rather dubious company.
Ah another simpleton
Anyone with any brain or know how regarding this sport knows you can't throw 15/16 lads together and it just click straight away. Please think before you post and make yourself look silly. Small time attitude = Small time results I will be boycotting the games untill things improve |

They can't use the 'a wee bit leggy' excuse, the Cobblers are playing Thursday night v Wolves and should be a lot more leggy ! |

What we did many moons ago is irrelevant now, that is not the fault of anyone currently at the club. What is important is that the Manager is equipped with the necessary budget to get us out of this league (in the right direction ) and that the owner picks the right man for the job. I think its fair to say that the jury is out on both those questions at the moment. Going on about how we've fallen should be laid at previous regimes. Tackling how quickly we can rise again and whether everything is being done to ensure this happens is fair game. |

| The only reason the jury is still out must be because they're enjoying staying in a hotel at the Court's expense!
In the trial of the current Administration at PAFC, I submit only three pieces of evidence Your Honour-the club's League position, the attendance figures-which dictates available playing budget, and the total lack of assets now owed by the club.
There can only be one verdict. |
