We played 120 minutes against a championship side and managed a 1 1 draw, dominating the second half and having numerous chances in extra time. We didn't miss all of the pens like we did at exeter.

Tonight was a big improvement.

A few short years back we were playing Burnley in the league. They were just another very un-glamorous championship side. Now we're celebrating narrowly losing to them in the league Cup. This aint good enough.

Burnley are a championship club yes but a championship side put out tonight, not so sure.Burnley made 10 changes from the team that played last Saturday,so not exactly their fstrongest eleven.

I think Fletcher has stumbled across our best side, the side that ended that game should be the side we kick off against Northampton with

In case you haven't noticed, we are in league 2 with a poor side, Burnley are 2 leagues above us with a good side. Did you fume out of your skin when Arsenal beat us? the league gap was even smaller then Rolling Eyes

Actually I am usually the total opposite, but I know a positive result when I see one and despite not being an Aviva, I am able to give the team praise.

Are you mental ? Just cause argyle are league 2 doesnt mean that you have to accept SHITE or get excited about getting a draw with SHITE ? Did argyle go out ? well done them for missing out on a potential pay day !!!! Bet burnley go and draw man city at home now !!!

Its that SMALL TIME ATTITUDE that will always secure PAFC as a Micky Mouse outfit

Have to agree with you. I see this as a positive performance one we can build on.

Enjoy being a depressed argyle fan for the next 5 years, we aren't gonna get better than Burnley in that time, be happy when we do something right, instead of getting angry because we're not above Man City yet.

And fully agree with Oxfordgreen

Im not depressed at all !!! Im just telling you now , while the club has fans like you that accept 3rd rate attitudes and a micky mouse set ups, The owners will not be forced into action !!!!

If the club had fans that DEMANDED more ALL THE TIME , wanted to see constant Improvement the owners hand will be forced !!!!!!

It is fans with the same attitude as you that could CONTRIBUTE to the failings of the club

Small time attitude = Small time results !!!!!!!!

SG, I have slated Brent and Fletcher throughout pre season and into the start of the new season, all I am saying is that tonight was a very good result and something to be positive about

And that Saltash Green is the biggest load of bullshit going. People on here would have you believe that Brent is just looking for an excuse to walk away having already done his deals and asset stripped the club. Force his hand????? Yes of course it would. To blame people who still want to go to watch even if it is bad and they do criticise what the club does or sometimes doesn't do is crap. According to some on this website he has already made his profit with or without the football bit so why would his hand be forced and why wouldn't he just say feck it and close the place down? Do you also play poker badly? You also copied most of your post from other peoples posts previously.
