Nobody said anything about accepting shite as you put it. What I said was staying away and cutting off your nose to spite your face if you still wanted to go is not forcing Brent into anything. You must have fallen out with your old pals pretty badly to sing the song you do now. Suddenly you are a passionate dissenter of everything. Has he done his deals? Has he asset stripped the club already? Is there anything worth hanging onto at Home Park? Why would he not just walk away with his fingers in the air at everyone? To force somebody into doing anything has to have something in it for them to be forced in the first place. According to some there isn't anything. Just because people choose to go doesn't make them acceptors and I suspect there are people out there now who would love to go but simply can't afford it as their reason for not rather than just staying away as a protest.

Its nothing to do with weather you go to the games or not !!!! I dont think people should stay away as it happens , but you can always demand more !!!!!!

I havnjt fallen out with anyone so not sure what you mean by that , it was always a myth that i was pals with newell and webb , they are just 2 people i happen to know. Certainly not pals with them

We drew against a team two leagues above us, they ended up going through cos they were less shite at penaltys than us, The team we played were the reserve side, so it was probably more like playing a league 1 outfit, Im not happy, im not sad, i couldnt really care less to be honest, I still want to see Fletcher sacked

So I'm a moron, clueless and a goon now. Anything else you want to chuck in? Keep this up and you may eventually do well on here if they ever accept you given your past that is. Football might be simple but the solutions to Argyle's woes aren't are they. Brent won't pour anything into the club no matter how loud you shout and if you think it's that simple then get a rally going outside the ground on Saturday for a start. Just have to keep it up for a few matches and that's your problem solved. Like I said best of luck and I'll watch the improvement with gratitude.

I care GreenWhiteBlack but I wouldn't necessarily disagree on the Fletcher point though.

Mind you Dane with things how they are you might have Saturday's free in the not too distant future...?

I thank you for thinking about poor little old Plymouth but don't you have a relegation battle of your own to consider? Is that 4 games you've lost in a row? Even Fletcher has picked up 2 draws in that time.

Why isn't the Chairman putting some money into the first team Dane? Any new signings on the horizon? Why not? It's precisely that attitude that means that Cullompton will always be smaller than Bodmin. Why don't you ask your fans to boycott the next game?

I don't mind reading some of the more extreme views on here from some. If I did what would be the point logging on but at least they're consistent. From what I've seen over time you have a reputation for stoking a reaction on websites and keeping some rather dubious company.

Sometimes it has to get worse before it has a chance of getting better. The sooner the better for me too.

Oh and for what it's worth - yes it wasn't a full strength Burnley side but I would expect squad players for a Championship side to be better than a L2 side. Up front alone they would have 2 players who would walk into our side.

On the plus side this result may give the team more belief and certainly from what I have heard and read they worked hard.

On the negative side we were still playing balls too long and our central midfield area is pitifully short of talent and cover. In addition we played extra time and would not have been back in Plymouth until gone 6am.

Drew who was commentating has said that he expected little and got a far lot more than that and he seems a level-headed kind of chap.

All in all a shame about losing on penalties but by all accounts their keeper has a fine record in shoot-outs. Nothing to get too worked up either way.

Let's see what pans out in the next few days with the transfer window and Northampton.

That will be the only chance of us getting anything on Saturday, always the Achilles heel for the opposition, as soon as we play a team on a level pegging.......

Just got back from the tattooist. "Burnley, 28/08/2012. I was there (159)." It's just above my "Blue Square Prem, you're havin' a laff" Tattoo.

Rumour has it that another big flag is going to made depicting our epic encounter.

Bit like the Bayeaux tapestry.

Also there's enough to keep the murals going for a couple of seasons.

Argyle ran a second choice (ten changes) average championship team close in front of a small home crowd 4,000 + thats it! Some praise is due on the night but lets move on. The reality is that Fletcher is desperately trying to offload and get in players before Friday - this is crap, evidence of how unprepared we were by August 18th. Keeping Feeney and Chadwick and buying unproven players at league level is now having it's effects. We looked complete and utter shite in pre season and it was obvious to me that any half decent attacking side in league 2 would tear us apart, just look at the results so far.
