| Northampton will have enjoyed our escapades tonight... Ready-made excuses for Saturday though now, and the agony will be prolonged. |

Didn't say anywhere we have suddenly become a premier outfit either. However, this was a team 2 leagues above and we ran them close so it wasn't the mullering you predicted and oh how that must irritate. We lost it's true and no matter how you dress it up we aren't in that competition anymore. Wanting Argyle to win though isn't a crime as it happens to be the team I support so why wouldn't I. Aviva????? oh behave yourself.
I doubt it was a full strength side You're the football expert Freathy. Have a look on the BBC website and tell us if their line-up was a strong line-up. I'm sure you know their squad inside-out. |

Ready-made excuses for Saturday though now, and the agony will be prolonged. Northampton play their second round game against Wolves on Thursday night. Much rather be in our position! |

This club is a sorry joke and the people dragging this club into the doldrums are the morons that blindly follow the disgusting influences of newell, webb , brent , forza nerd. We will be beaten on Saturday..of that i have no doubt, ...we are the worst team in devon behind exeter and torquay....ill leave the obvious ones to ponder over that before you go into denial meltdown again |

| Perhaps Fletch has happened upon his best side. Especially the one that played for through extra time. No need for reinforcements now. Stick the same side out on Saturday. |

| Griffiths = clown? "Duped us"? I know I shouldn't rise to this nonsense. I try. I really do. And usually I manage it. But..... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Well I reckon that most 'football people' will be absolutely amazed if a 32 year old fireman from the League of Wales, turns out to be the answer to little Plymouth's goalscoring problem.

| Who knows? He may or may not come good for us. If he does I will be pleased.
But the language of "clown" and "duped" was what I was responding to. |

| Well, I'm shocked that we managed to take it that far.
Northampton's the test, mind, and it doesn't make me any more positive for that one. |

| Another fanfest, after last time when I jumped up on stage with Rick and Dave for the Janners' song, then sprayed my can of tribute all over the top table, I'm not sure I'll be invited.
Is it home or away? Not that it matters...bigger fish to fry, etc.
A couple of my friends in Southsea asked if I'd want to go and watch some Premiership football in nearby Soton the other day. I said yes, and we're off to watch them play Spurs next month. It'll be nice to see some skill again. |
