Wafting fat man sweat all the way to Essex without stopping long enough for a panic wank, not for me thanks all the same. I was thinking that, but I never go to away days on the train anymore, lets just say I'm not very good at trains, routes, times etc Yep, I'll be there. I wouldn't dream of going via any other method than train. A nice bottle of red and the Guardian whilst my driver chugs me through the English countryside. Perfect.
Only people who are medically or legally unfit to drive go on the official coaches don't they..?
Are you on the GT's coach Cobi? I use the supporters coaches because they take me from A - B, yes I may be a Devonport High boy but transport isn't my strong point.
I have been on the GT's coach, once, that was awkward, never again :p I remember being on the supporters coach going to Newport when Noddy's somewhat erratic behaviour meant the police searched the coach from head to toe convinced there was booze on board. 40 minutes we were at the roadside until the coppers called assistance because he was pissed off with Noddy following him everywhere singing - We love youuuuuuuuu Argyle, we doooooooooooooooo every 10 seconds.
blast from the past, is he still with us? Passed away in 1998, after watching us lose 1 nil at home to gillingahm!

blast from the past, is he still with us? No Noddy's in the great far post club in the sky. An 11 hours each way coach journey with him was hilarious. Every time we saw a new place name on the signposts or if we went over the "RIVER YEO" Noddy let everyone know. Even at 6am when most people had nodded off he was still going strong, and at 7am, and 8am, and 9am and then even louder after that as we got nearer to Sunderland. Got extremely wankered that weekend and argued with one landlady as be brought my "Cornish Pasty" which looked like a thinly filled pancake, and I wasn't eating that shit. I lost my rag when I kept asking for Newcastle Brown Ale to wind them up, and they actually didn't sell Newcy Brown in Sunderland. I don't know if that's still the case but that's what I call a rivalry. |
