| Not sure I get that or exactly who it's directed at tcm but colourful nonetheless.
I agree Dougie it isn't really moanworthy it is just a stupid name. But, don't we live in a World these days where stupid names for jobs is the "in" thing. Marketing people need to justify their existance as much as anyone else don't they? I vote tcm volunteers for job title allocation. |

| TCM could be a customer care assistant.Probably be more entertaining than watching the footy, especially if he fecks them all down to the train station. |

Who knows?
And that is the bloody problem.
Nobody knows what a crowd care assistant is? Is it a steward or not. Do you get paid or not. Etc Etc...
It's just another piss poor announcement that is thoroughly vague.
Same old Argo... I saw the article said 'match day vacancy' and hoped it might be for some footballers that aren't utter shit. But its another first in football, exciting times ahead for all us lucky supporters. Our dear leader has figured out a way not to pay for something else. |

There won't be any crowds to assist before long. It's another free labour ruse. They'll have them litter picking etc in order to get a good grade. When will this nightmare end ? |

| Ignorance would indeed appear to be bliss.
Comrade Napoleon will be pleased.

| There is nothing in the advert to suggest it is voluntary or paid. I will wait till the details are actually known before criticising.
I still don't understand why people have to be so dismissive about those that still attend the matchday. Just because people choose to go doesn't make them a Brent supporter, Fletcher supporter, player supporter or a headless sheep. What is wrong with enjoying a day out with mates and a beer. I find those who are absent actualy do more moaning than those that go. Given the absentees don't cough up any of their hard earned then I would have thought they would have had less to moan about not more. |

| Dare I say the continuous attacking of "Avivas" as they are branded is boring. In some bizaar way it is suposed to be the attenders whose fault it is ultimately that Argyle went into nose dive or have never entered the promised land. It is the continuous reference to them being some character out of Animal Farm instead of just people who like the day out even if the fare is a tad lacking. The continuous references to if you still go then you must accept everything that goes on blindly. I don't criticise people for not attending as it is personal choice and I've always said so. The people who complain most don't go yet their only protest about bad things Argyle is to post repeatedly on a website that few read and do nothing of any substance about anything. I don't see hords sitting outside the ground with their placards or organising a compaign of resistence. They don't even write Mr Angry letters to the press. The total effort is not attending and basically tutting. Very Village England to coin a phrase. Do they really think their absence and silence is making the Boardroom squirm. |

Equally boring is the continuous attacking of those that attack the "Avivas", but we put up with it because it's a site that has adopted free debate. |

| Perhaps the problem is to do with the wording. 'Care assistant' can be used as a term that could be construed (sp) as a 'job' that is always associated with people with some kind of problems, subconsciously anyway. |

Comparisons could also be drawn with Alan Dean Foster's novelization of Alien etc. |

| GOB you actually asked me the question so if you don't like or think the answer is boring then perhaps you should refrain from asking in the first place. I suspect you pretty much knew what the answer was going to be anyway and asked so you could reply as you did. Equally boring are the posts that say that posts are boring and so on........or should we just leave it there. |
