Could see Spain were going to win straight from the kick-off. Better team by miles. Another one to forget just like the other finals/semi-finals Southgate has 'delivered'. Time to go.

Good riddance! Under a better manager, this England team, with the current crop of players, probably would have gone on to win.

Done the decent thing and fell on his sword. What England now require is a seasoned ex international to steady the ship so could I suggest a certain Wayne Rooney which would add to my delight knowing many a greenie sphincter would be twitching furiously.
