Warrington Gilesphrey and Tyreik hardly got a game this season, nobody's going to sign 2 or three players who might only get a game apiece. Its a squad game not a 11 starting and one sub like it was in the past and you have to account for injuries suspensions and poor form too which we will have plenty till may and we have too few in the squad now. Those 3 where all injured for most part this season. |

| Yeah, injured, so they didn't play.
It's going to be a big sell now getting any more players in when the best we can offer is that they'll be 6th choice CB or 5th choice CM.
Get another forward in without moving anyone out and they'll just be blocking Isaaca |

| So in today were Alfie Devine (attacking midfielder) on loan and Matty Sorinola (right wing back) free agent. Assume these are replacements for Azaz and KKH respectively. Devine is very young but has seemingly impressed at Port Vale this season. Sorinola has at least some Championship experience. |

- Well this Sorinola guy is a little bit more encouraging. Permanent signing and actually has some Championship experience, albeit not a great deal; about 25 matches. Still reeks a bit of scraping aorund the bargain bin.
not very prolific his a wing back by his stats hardly any goals at all just googled him ..don’t know how to put link up otherwise I’d have put it up |

| This one then
Norwich midfielder Adam Forshaw is in talks over a move to Championship rivals Plymouth - despite only joining from Leeds at the start of the season
The 32-year old only joined Norwich at the start of the season after failing to agree terms on a new deal with Leeds United.
He has made nine appearances for David Wagner's side but is ready to make the switch to Argyle where head coach Ian Foster wants him to help a relatively young team kick on and push away from the relegation places. |

Ex Tottenham Hotspur youngster
Swansea have had their first offer for Romaine Mundle turned down today by Standard Liege.
Stoke City and Plymouth Argyle are also keen to sign him |

Was a youth player with Everton so is Dewsnip lining him up for a player/coach role? |

Definitely need someone of that type and experience but always makes you shudder when reading about players bad injury records. May get a season or two out of him, hope he's more Nalis than Folly. |

Well he's definitely got plenty of experience at a high level, which is what we need. On the other hand, both Leeds and Norwich have deemed him not good enough for the Championship this season, so you have to wonder if his best days aren't past him. Hopefully he's not another Damien Johnson - just here for one last big payday. |

I’ve got a sneaky feeling his been brought in as a player/ assistant coach to foster he has all the relevant badges I believe I think which tipped the deal for him to join cos he only joined norwich last year from Leeds hopefully with his experience as on the pitch iam hoping he can help the youngster gel on the pitch around him as well plus just what foster needs as well someone with experience to lean on as well and knows the championship hope it turns out to be a good signing |

| Plymouth Argyle looking at more January signings declares Ian Foster
The Pilgrims have already brought in five players, three on loan and two on permanent deals, since Foster was appointed as the Pilgrims' boss on January 5
Plymouth Argyle will definitely look at bringing in more players who can help improve the Plymouth Argyle squad before the end of the January transfer window, head coach Ian Foster has declared.
Foster indicated that both permanent and loan signings were possible between now and the deadline of 11pm on Thursday, February 1. It has already been a busy month of player movement at Argyle, with six players leaving and five arriving. The newcomers have included teenage loan trio Ashley Phillips, Darko Gyabi and Alfie Devine.
Matty Sorinola was a free agent signing after he left Belgian Pro League side Union St Gilloise at the end of December and 32-year-old midfielder Adam Forshaw, who has past Premier League experience with Leeds United, moved from Norwich City.
Foster said: "We have made two permanent transfers and that is always our aim. We will look down that road first in terms of players who will make us better, players who are affordable, players that we can develop regardless of the stage of the career they are in.
"We will develop Adam Forshaw for certain. So don't think he's coming in and we won't try to work him and get him better. He will, and he's open-minded enough to know he can improve with us, which is fabulous.
"We have got two loan spots still available to us and if the right people become available then we will look into it. If they don't then we will go with what we have got."
When asked what areas of the pitch he was looking at to strengthen Argyle, Foster simply replied: "Just players who will make us better."
Clubs can make up to a maximum of five loan signings and the Pilgrims are currently on three so that is a market they are sure to pay close attention to. Foster said: "It all depends on outgoings as well. It's a moving picture when players are coming in and going out at the rate they are at the minute."

| Our old player Luke Jephcott has left st johnstone where he was a utter flop according to their fans to sign for Newport County.
remember when we all thought he as going to be star and destined for bigger things i guess he thought that too and stopped working on his game as it left him behind. Boy we really should have taken that £1m offer we allegedly got offered in hindsight.
Hopefully for his sake Graham Coughlan can get through to him that he needs to work on his overall game and fitness and not just rely on poaching as it isn't working anymore now clubs know about him and if the creative players are being taken out of games by the other team he cant just stand around and hope for the best. Good luck to him. |
