| Home Park is tracking for its first complete sell out of the season ahead of the visit of Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.
Five wins from the first seven Sky Bet League One fixtures – including a remarkable 3-2 comeback victory over Derby County in front of over 27,000 supporters at Pride Park on Saturday – leaves Steven Schumacher’s side third in the table, one position and two points ahead of this weekend’s visitors.
At the time of writing, over 14,000 tickets have already been sold for the clash, with many parts of the stadium – including the away end – sold out.
With a little under 2,000 tickets remaining and sales continuing to track extremely quickly on Monday morning, we advise supporters planning on attending Saturday’s fixture to purchase at their earliest opportunity, or risk missing out altogether.
Tickets are on General Sale now, and can be purchased by heading to argyletickets.com, by visiting the Home Park Ticket Office between 9am-3pm Monday to Friday, or by calling 01752 907700 during opening hours. |

| Looks like 16k is our ceiling for the foreseeable, 200 seats spunked away in the zoo so the prawn sarnies have a good view of Dumbotron. Glad I'm not going. |

| With every HP stadium development/improvement the capacity gets less and less. We've gone from ~21k in 2004 after the old phase 1 (horse shoe) down to 16k in 2022. Every other club develops their stadium and increases capacity. Only at Argo. |

its 18600 the official capacity but your point remains valid, it was a stupid decision then supported by the senior greens, plebb and his band of fools to decrease capacity with that mankover and its coming home to roost on that one. Soon we are going to needing more capacity as the team continues to build a fanbase and more fans come to games alongside the team continuing to do well in the league which is crazy to think if we do go up soon even more fans are going to come to home park and we are going to be issuing waiting lists for tickets as we will have to turn some fans away cause we cant seat them all. Sooner those corners are built and ideas on how to add seats in the stands so supply keeps up with demand the better. |

its 18600 the official capacity It's around 16k when you factor in the reduced capacity in the shelf, segregation, netting, zoo tv etc etc. Argyle are massive ... lol |

| And I think the 14k sold includes the wednesday allocation in the kawasaki end, your post 4th from top doesn't specify differently. |

Taking into account these changes, a sold-out stadium next season (including away supporters), will come in at roughly 17,000. |

| We had three sellout games last season ,
"However, the highest attendance of the campaign came at the end of October when 16,087 fans watched the Pilgrims' 2-1 win against Ipswich Town."
Courtesy of 'Erald. Have we added any seats because of the fecking around with the safety certificate in the grandstand since last season? |

| Yes.
Following a comprehensive review of the stadium operations and layout of Home Park over the close season, we are delighted to confirm we have received approval to increase our match capacity by over 600 seats for the upcoming Sky Bet League One campaign.
With six fixtures completely sold out at the Theatre of Greens during the 21/22 season, club management considered it an absolute priority to assess how we can maximise seats within the stadium for the upcoming season, working with key local stakeholders like our Safety Advisory Group (SAG) to achieve this result.
There are two key changes heading into next season, and the capacity elevation is subject to trial – so we request that all supporters continue to follow club and safety team guidance to ensure that we can retain this increase for the longer term.
The first change is that, following discussions with our SAG, the club has received agreement to increase the operational capacity in the Upper Mayflower Grandstand to 75%, up from 50% last season, allowing us to sell more tickets in this area.
In addition, facility enhancements have been undertaken in the Lyndhurst Road Stand and Barn Park End, with a view to minimising the segregation gap between home and away supporters. Meanwhile, the removal of a small number of seats for the installation of our Big Screen also reduces the impact of footfall in that area.
As a result, we are able to significantly reduce the segregation netting - which was a frustration for staff and supporters alike last season - and increase the number of sellable seats in Block 20.
Please note that none of these additional seats in the Lyndhurst Road Stand or Barn Park End will be offered as season tickets, but will instead be made available on game-by-game basis.
Of course, our ability to operate with a reduced segregation netting in the longer term is contingent upon supporters’ behaviour and continued approval of SAG – and so, once again, we ask supporters to co-operate with the club to ensure that we can continue to maximise the capacity at Home Park.
Taking into account these changes, a sold-out stadium next season (including away supporters), will come in at roughly 17,000. To understand further how our capacity attendance is calculated, check out an in-depth article published last season which goes into further detail.
Argyle’s Head of Venue, Christian Kent, said: “We’re very pleased to be able to maximise the stadium for our supporters next season, and thank SAG for their support in achieving this goal.

| So we added 600 then lost 200 for the Jumbotron so the capacity should be about 16,400. |

| A capacity of under 20,000 doesn't fit with the claimed ambition of a Championship level team.
And wasn't Hallett on the Board that sanctioned the rebuild? |

the country will be in ten days of mourning so its very likely all sports games will be postponed over the weekend. I hope not but i wouldn't be shocked if tomorrow its gets announced there is a postponement. In fact as i type this ive seen a tweet where the EFL are discussing this matter tomorrow with the government and other organizations., |
