Whittaker Signs From Swansea City

From Link wrote:
Argyle have signed Morgan Whittaker from Swansea City on a season-long loan deal.

The 21-year-old attacker has scored five goals in his Swansea career – three of which were against Argyle.

The Pilgrims travelled to the Swansea.com Stadium in the second round of the Carabao Cup last season, and were holding their own at 1-1 until Whittaker turned on the style and scored a hat-trick in the final 11 minutes of the game.

Whittaker also scored for The Swans when they visited Home Park in pre-season just over a year ago.

Morgan began his career at hometown club Derby County, and made 32 appearances for The Rams, the vast majority from the bench.

He signed for Swansea at the end of the 2021 January transfer window, and has made 22 appearances since.

Last season, Morgan went on loan to Lincoln City for the second half of the campaign, and scored five times in 20 games for The Imps.

“I am delighted that we have signed Morgan on loan from Swansea,” said Argyle manager Steven Schumacher. “Morgan is a very talented young player, who can play either in a front three, or as a striker in a front two. He is left-footed and will bring another quality option to our attacking line this season.

“I’m sure our fans are going to be excited to watch him play, as much as we are excited to work with and coach him every day.”

Morgan will wear the number 19 shirt during his time as a Pilgrim. His home and away shirts are sponsored by Some forum unbeknownst to anyone outside their bubble. For more information, please contact [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] or call 01752 302204.

Welcome to Home Park, Morgan.

Well I await to see how he does i welcome him to the club im sure he will do well. But im still not convinced yet hes a natural goal scorer that the kids are hyping him up to be.

i guess the transfer budget was really shit this year regardless to record number of season ticket holders Rolling Eyes

If he doesn't start knocking the goals in, he'll have to put on a gig.
